I knew about those too, but the best way to experience it again is in Arcades, which are gone now in our place, lmfao! Nice to see this gem here where someone actually perfected the whole two waves of run. I can only last at around 2-3 or less, and with all my bombs used and some lives shaved off, lol! This guy is legit great.

I don't know if anyone noticed it, but the first four stages are in 'canon' order. Is there a way to preset stage order that I don't know about?
in MAME you need to restart the app then open it again, restart via close the application
Why was this NEVER ported? I would love to have this on the PS2/DC.
Mobile game version was ported with iOS and Android, You can get digital download to App Store and Google Play, Sadly no consoles port with Strikers 1945-III
There is a version on Steam and Switch now, released by City Connection. Would be interested to know why they’ve not bothered to put these Psikyo games up on PSN though.

1. Is this a no-miss 2-loop clear?
2. Why does everyone use the X-36? Is the power/charge shot that much better than all the other ships?

kek I will answer No 2...
X-36's normal shot is the most damaging in the game but its subweapon is pretty weak, if not, the weakest in the game but the best thing about it is that it chews up creep planes very easily so you don't have to worry about them powering you down. Best especially for stage 6 and 7 where those little shits are everywhere...
Its supershot deals a shit ton of damage and you can deactivate it freely (Although not in mobile version) but however, the level 3 charge is kinda disappointing since its so hard to hit all the beams together. But its the bomb of this plane that takes the cake; it can be freely aimed and the robot mode sucks up all bullets. Very lifesaving and very handy for Technical bonus, although the bomb isn't as strong as the Super Honet.
It's not the best in terms of damage but its a pretty versatile and balanced plane. Why most people use it idk, maybe they think secret plane = best plane.
I personally think the Super Hornet is better as it does more damage and has good homing capabilities. But if you want easy mode, use the F14, that shit does a lot of damage with dem napalm shits...

I just unlocked the Harrier (with the Roll Napalm) on the Android Version of the game, and, damn, it makes the game so much easier (tho I still suck at dodging bullets).
Haven't seen the plane that requires you to collect 3000 Medals yet, though.
Rayven Hitt harrier's bomb the strongest in the game hahaha. one use on the boss and the boss can say goodbye to this world
I use AviSynth for video processing. It's more like a programming language than video editing software, so YMMV.

*HOW TO UNLOCK THE X-36:* Enter the service menu (F2 in MAME). Under the code entry option, enter the code 01999. Afterwards, the X-36 will be selectable by moving to 'Random' on the ship select screen and pressing up.

Seriously, just... what the fuck... Master difficulty... Is it me who really sucks or is it really Master difficulty that's close to unplayable? I can finish Pro difficulty with only one life lost no problem easy peasy, Master difficulty though... can't even reach final level...

TotallyHuman Strangely enough, the "Master difficulty" of the mobile Strikers 1945 II is WAAAY EASIER than the Normal difficulty; I reach stage 7 and die there with no credits used usually, while on Normal I usually died on stage 5.
Probably because my phone is quite weak; their speedy bullets get slower because of great lag on Master difficulty lol.
