The thing that dragged me down the Japanese music rabbit hole was the 5-disc OST for Cowboy Bebop, and this sounds like it would fit right in. Such a great band! Subbed because... Home Gnome!
I'll never understand why Gacharic Spin are not touring the world with their fantastic music. Maybe a too wide range of styles to be marketed to a single target group.
I find it somehow touching that Hana, who can do lead vocals while drumming in two or three different time signatures, stops strumming the guitar while she sings. Most of us might do things the other way 'round ......
I know what you mean, although bear in mind this is generally an arrangement decision rather than a limitation. For example in this video of The Spade 13 (the band Hana played bass and sang in before GS was formed) playing their track Lala live: th-cam.com/video/M_a-ALIUvis/w-d-xo.html The bass line she plays under the chorus (she sings lead in the chorus) is by far the most complicated in the song, full of walks, passing notes and position shifts and following a totally separate rhythm to the vocals. It's just as they have Tomo-zo on guitar as well if they want to take things down in the verses they can drop one guitar out whilst Hana sings etc.

@@homegnome2429 Reverse Psychology and Rabbit Hole were probably my favourites, with parallel loop coming really close as well - I really liked the dissonance and interesting harmonies. Sabi is the japanese title. I'm pretty sure it translates to "hook" in English. I posted the setlist on reddit so I should probably go back and fix that 😅

I think Oreo is too busy adding the cool jazzy piano to be doing lead vocals too on this one
