- S&DJR 23 arrives with a train of mostly 6-wheel coaches from Templecombe via Hamworthy Junction.
Information for trainspotters:

Bachmann GWR 64XX Pannier Tank 6407 (weathered by The Model Centre)
Bachmann S&DJR 4F 58 (weathered by Neville Grove)
Nice matching set. One of the trains should have departed first, before the coal train came in. Always clear at least one platform track first, before bringing another one in. Sometimes, coal is dropped off at a station, so the fire in the station cafe can be replenished. Let's see that happening, instead of going to the coal staithes all the time.
Lovely short video. Must be summer as the station is very busy.
Yes. Plenty of passenger traffic but coal is important too as steamers to the Channel Islands refuel in Westhaven.
Exquisite might be the word. What a lovely set.
Love the private owner coal wagons too👍
Those Hornby generic coaches look great behind the Jinty or the 1P. Now Rapido is launching generic S&DJR coaches and I have two Ratio Midland coaches that I plan to paint in S&D livery. If you look at other videos you will see that I love private owner wagons, mostly correct-ish for the region.
@@westhavengwr4613 some look like kits or well finished RTR. Very nicely weathered and lettered. The S&D is a great one for modelling with the crossover of other companies and loco types, Rapido are excellent but a bit on the expensive side for my liking, look forward to more from Westhaven, one of my favourite watches 👋
@@Shelfandtabletoplayouts00gauge no kits running yet but I have some to make. I have two scenic/buildings jobs first. I drive on part of the S&D route regularly and walk/drive part of the LSWR old road Brockenhurst to Poole every day.
