Big b is allways honest that’s why I follow him and watch and learn everything he does yeah the 48 is not the fastest of the boats but still looks fun about to get mine tomorrow thanks man keep them videos rolling in
Hey Big B, I wanted to mention that I think it's pretty COOL that Horizon put you in their AD for this new Super Sonic wake! I opened the e-mail and "POOF" there's BIG B! :) BG4L my Brother!
Now I know why it is so expensive they gave one to every boat channel. Yours is the only review I’ll watch because I know it will be an Ironclad honest review. The rest are posers.
I guess Pro Boat learned from the 36. Mine still runs a 130 to a 140 on the motor and esc even after drilling larger holes in the hall and rudder. Keep up the good work.
WOW what a monster, The only way I could get my 36 inch Sonic wake to ride right with stock none adjustable strut was to put on RC boat bitz large ride plates. Great video as usual, Thanks for all the tips
I always run my batteries to 3.5-3.6 volts when under load which allows them to recover when not under load to between 3.7 and 3.8 volts, but I find that the smaller the battery, the more likely they are to puff even when charged properly and not drained to far. I am talkin 1S to 2S 300mah to 850mah for micro quads. The Spektrum batteries are way to darn expensive when you have over 100 batteries and I do not believe they come in small batteries like these!
By the ratio Big B, it looks like it would love 12s😮😅 Pricing at this point, I think it's reasonable 👍👍🤙 The gutter at the back of the canopy is great. I have thought of a piece of tube under the hull and dumping it at the transom, allowing water to drain. I hate tape😊😊
Yup, looks like it handles pretty good for a big hull in that small pond. I learned with those tight turns, you gotta give it some authority to get her to swing around fast.😁 So much fun whipping it around! I'm getting out on the water this evening BG4L🚤💨
Ironclad I need help I have a RC boat pro boat heatwave & recently bought a spektrum DX5 Rugged transmitter I recently took it to the lake but my rudder barely is turning for the left turn but the right turns just fine idk if I set up my transmitter I don’t really know how I’m super new to this & nobody else knows what to do can you help me with this
10,000MAh= 7 minutes of run time? Huh? Im considering buying a boat, I'm coming from the knuckle-dragging land RC crowd. But, are these the run times y'all are getting 300.00 worth of lipos?!
Gotta figure i was on the throttle 100% 90% of the time, It's all load on the motor and esc in a boat, whole new world for you to explore, ground guys change pinion and spurs, boat guys change props to get faster or longer running time.
Hello mate. Normally you adjust the stinger for nose up and down and the trim tabs are for roll. I’m interested to see how fast you can get this before you start swapping out the motor 😂
@@IRONCLADRC thats probably what proboat sort off expected from you, do your tuning magic. Thing was, kind off thought to myself, what prop is fitting. These are the less common sizes...
I sold a rc crawler to add this boat to our channel!!! Thanks for all the info on this rad boat so far!!!

SHES A BEAST!!!! I definitely would need a bigger APT!! They came out with a great price point for the size!! Great job Pro Boat!!
Man that is one impressive boat ! I will have to get this thing someday soon. She is a monster

I appreciate the support my friend, gotta keep it real

Picked one up after watching your vids on it. Can you use the hv lipos on this? keep up the great work!

Thanks for sharing. Have a great day brother!
That is the longest one lap that I have ever seen LOL!
“Yes sir! Yes sir Buddy!!” = Big B when the UPS guy rolls up with a giant box from Horizon.
Damn you can tell the scale running it in that small pond!

Can't wait to see different prop testing...😅
Great video big B!!
Such a beast
I have a question can you make a single 8S pack or do the tray systems not allow you to do that
That would be a good name for it ( The Big Basher ) !!!!!!
The 48” and the 42” more on par with each other. 👍 that’s a lot of rooster tale, might momentarily lower the level of the pound 🤣
Took the sonicwake 36 out for first run went good but then I got the alpha out mate you need to get one much faster then the sonic
How much cost For that DASPOTASS48 prop And birds where do I buy that Thank you I appreciate it

Hi respectfully can you do a video of the super sonicwake on a full preparation for a first time use. Please and thank you
Quick question. So I also just grabbed a basher for the page also. It came with a 6s power pack and charger do u think the boat will run on 6s set up?
I haven't tried it yet, maybe get 30mph on 6s maybe
@IRONCLADRC I may try it just to drive the boat. It killing me sitting here looking at it when it wants to get wet lol
Need boat gang merch!
Damn B you could power a neighbourhood with that brick! The boys at horizon hooking you up with one of the new transmitters?
The new IXSR is bad to the bone! One can only wish 🤞

I can't wait to take it to the big water to try for some speed, for such a large boat it handled the little pond rather well
I honestly can't wait to see u swap out the electrics n upgrade to bigger esc and so on
Big B , good intro . What is your plan for this boat . It’s big but ….
I will add it to the collection
You should take that outboard motor or get another one and put it on a deep fee hall and try it

You may need to oil the bearings in the servo, or servo motor is locking up
@@IRONCLADRC thanks Ironclad I’m going to do that today

Did my first speed attempt today got 62mph upgraded prop
th-cam.com/video/dMorvh83D0c/w-d-xo.html
OK, are you ready to void the warranty yet?
I wonder what this will do with an Xlx2 and a prop. If you install an xlx2 can you run 12s or will it fry the motor?
Xlx2 is an 8s speed control.. I would keep the motor on 8s
@@IRONCLADRCthanks for the info - think it’ll hit 60 with a prop and xlx2 on 8s?
It should hit 60 with only a prop change? We're gonna find out here shortly
Pretty decent price for such a large boat.
There goes my money
I like the boat its cool but i feel like proboat should of made this 10 or 12s thats the boat the people wanted
Lets see were you will take it. This needs tuning from B...
I'm working my way into this one, had to order special props, only had one or two in my collection big enough for this boat
@@IRONCLADRC thats probably what proboat sort off expected from you, do your tuning magic. Thing was, kind off thought to myself, what prop is fitting. These are the less common sizes...
you went 10 minutes on throttle? lol
7 minutes give or take
180 for a battery ouch!!!
They make it look so big is it 48 inches from the bow to the back of the boat or 48 inches from the bow to the end of the prop
54 inches total length, 48" total length on the hull
