Dude, you explain and teach far better than any other place I've ever tried to learn songs from.. every other "teacher" will show what they're doing, but there are pretty much always little things that they don't bother to explain that are really hard to figure out/understand. They also always go so fast and blow through everything at warp speed while skipping/ignoring all the little, minute details that really accent parts of the riff. Thank you for going through everything slow and explaining what you're doing as you're doing it. You really made it super mega ultra difficult for me to find a complaint. Thanks for your patience and thorough explanations. Well done. And also, from guitarist to guitarist, you're obviously a very skilled player. Props to you. Anyways, that's all I wanted to say. Thank you!
@@NickPerezMusic Alright, just finished learning and this has got to be the trickiest thing Coheed has put out by far!! Also for the solo, personally, I just doodle around with the d minor scale ;P
@@dustinking9874 it's a super tough one! The main riff in NWFT still boggles my brain so imma have to say that's the toughest one for me. The solo is super hard to hear with all the panning and effects and what not, doodle away 😂🤘
Top 5 1.) Apollo 1: The Writing Writer / The Willing Well III: Apollo II (The Telling Truth) 2.) The Gutter 3.) The Key Extraction V: Sentry the Defiant 4.) Deranged 5.) Gravity's Union
It's almost impossible for a band like Coheed and Cambria to exist. I mean, I know there are times that they take a bit between albums, but if you're objective they are definitely better than when they started out. That's just really hard to do. They know music and how to compose a song, but then also how to compose and create a feel/vibe for an album. On top of that they are telling a story. On top of that people/listeners are getting attached to and have emotional investments to characters that C&C sing about and they have created a culture around them and their music. Coheed and Cambria are completely underated and Claudio is underated as an artist/creative.

Hey hey! I love coheed and the last 2 covers I made "Goodnight Fair Lady" and a mashup of "Love Protocol and The Pavilion" managed to get reposted onto the band's official social media pages. I am looking to start a round of covers for this upcoming album. Check out the covers on my page and let me know if you would be willing to provide instrumentals / guitar. I recorded, mixed and mastered both covers 100% by myself, so if you can provide instruments I'll take care of the vocals and the mix/master process.
I remember when then shared that mashup! I would love to collab with you dude, feel free to send me a dm on insta @nickperezoffical (yes “official” is spelt wrong…long story lmao) so we can chat further!
Wish I had a guitar teacher like you! You are super easy to follow
