In this video, I have traveled 2800 miles in the last couple months along with daily riding and decide at 20,000 miles that it’s time for some regular maintenance and a new clutch installation. I start with an oil change, then I remove the O2 Sensor to clear an engine code from the dashboard, I finally dive into the clutch installation. All is going smoothly until I come to the end of the clutch pack, I realize the last friction disk is missing. The engine is taken apart and now I must find a source for a friction disk… I first sent Rekluse an email explaining the situation to them. At the same time, I FB message Revzilla. Revzilla responds quickly but they are unable to help me and refer me back to Rekluse. I then FB Message Rekluse and they respond later in the day. I think due to the time difference. We then figure out what part is missing, and I give them my shipping address. The next day I got an email saying that my part was on the way. Then finally on the third day, I get a UPS delivery at 10:30am and start the installation.
