न्यूक्लियर मेडिसिन क्या है ? What is nuclear medicine ? What is PET-CT ? Role of PET-CT in cancer?

Dear friends most of us are unaware about nuclear medicine and its clinical uses because still this branch is available in most of the super speciality institutes only, so we did not exposed with this branch during our UG and PG training.
But now a days as we are shifting towards personalised medicine, we have to move forward with functional or molecular imaging.
So all of us should have some basic knowledge about this branch. If we will be aware about it we can manage our patients in a much better way or we can guide them properly.

Your video was enthralling. Nuclear technology can also be harnessed for medical purposes. It is said that radioactive iodine is used for detecting the disease of the thyroid glands. Similarly, India has been to prepare, with the help of UN experts, radiated vaccine which can immunise sheep from lungworm disease, which used to take a heavy toll of sheep every year.
