The best thing about Jelly Roll is he got across them god damn train tracks, but didn’t forget where he came from. Thank you for remaining humble and real. I will always support you sir. I like the old sound better but I love seeing you soar.

I heard this song and it touched me. It was the reason I spoke with my wife about my upbringing. I grew up poor... daddy didn't come back from hunting with something we didnt eat poor. I hid all that from her... met her in college she never knew. I was the first person in my family to go to college and make it out that life. I grew up in grandma and grandpas trailrer's full of camel cig smoke. Thank you for giving me the strength to not be embarrassed of my upbringing. This song helped me not be be ashamed and hide that side of me... after all it made me who i am.

I grew up in a rough city area no one wanted to be from. I brought my kids out to the stick to get a better education and safer upbringing. I can't help but constantly remind them where their from. Where their parents are from. There's so many racist hicks out here, it hurts my soul. I'll never stop reminding my kids of the "across the train tracks" we grew up in! We were poor but we were diverse and a big ass family! ❤️

Sitting hear listening to my people, feeling and dealing with the same shit I have for 67yrs… I heard from the heart, stop and comment.
Someone is suffering right now, depression, suicidal, lost, scared, hopeless, empty, ect.
HEY, I HEAR YOU, FEEL YOU!!! 28 cleans clean from heroin, I know how much life hurts right now but wait….
It’s going to be okay, stop, breathe deep and focus on what’s real, Jesus paid the price. God holds you in the palm of his hand, the plans God has for you are greater than even you can imagine. Hold on, pray, breathe and wait on the promise of healing. Ask and you shall receive, knock and the door shall be opened…
