I grew up in a desert and this brings back a lot of memories for me. There is a certain kind of beauty that a desert holds and along with that beauty is a stark reminder of how hard it is to survive there.
I watched Dune part two in the cinemas yesterday. I felt that watching the characters cross the sands, watching the desert move. That it is time itself, that we move through it but time will always win, always remain.
Seeing all desert landscape lovers assembled here …feels like I am with my family. Can we keep this moving . I wish someone just walks across a desert and shares a video..

I lived close to our local sand dunes (before idjit tourists began using their dune buggies there) and between the wind and the sounds of the ocean it. was. wonderful.

I stayed in the Arizona and Nevada desert 2 years ago for some reason I felt huge amounts of energy and I found my permanent peace...as if I once lived in a desert in my past life of some kind.....I was happy there now that I came back home to Texas my Depression came back and my peace disappeared I hope one day I can go back to the desert and live there and rediscover my peace again...
I get you. Your heart calls to that place, but it is not always possible or easy to move. I can't move from where I am and my heart calls to other places, but I am building my life in a way that allows me to visit them at least and feed my soul ❤️

@STARDUST i agree with @Ravens that Fly with the Nightmare Eyes - i think it demands a little bit extra from the reader. If you vibe with it and it clicks, its life changing, but if its a fight to get into its flow, youre in for a long long awful read

Its just my nature. I live in a city with alot humans and no real big forets or of course not deserts. But everytime i see a camera or a guy alone there... its just like i need to be there i belong there the desert is were i have to life and die! Somethings just calling me.

It's art, it's subjective. I wanted the wind to be overpowering, making it feel very desolate, I am still happy with it, wouldn't change a thing.
