I had to come back to this one. My three faves, Dave painting clouds and a seascape.
The shape of the clouds look as though they are moving in the sky! The way you captured the movement of the waves is so realistic looking as they build upon each other! Also, the water hitting up against the rock adds interest even though just a small part of your pretty painting. Thank you, for sharing David.

I need to make dinner, so I will have to watch this later. But I wanted to say that the thing I really appreciate about you and your paintings is that you show that acrylics is a acceptable and worthy medium for painting florals, animals and landscapes. So often people have come to our home to pick up an acrylic painting that they bought from me, and they're surprised that I don't paint abstract, because they think that's the only thing acrylic artists paint! So, thanks for the affirmation and encouragement for us acrylic artists! We paint the same things as oil painters do, we just have to know where we're going beforehand, because it dries so quickly. Especially f you're going to do blending. The nice thing about acrylics is, it dries quickly, so that if you need to paint over anything, to change it, you absolutely can, almost immediately. I love acrylics! :)
With the modern acrylics you can slow them down to 5 or 6 hours drying time. Much better than older style acrylics.
