QUICK TIP: For method 1, use a gaussian blur to smooth things out, really makes a HUGE difference!!

Where did YOU learn all this wizardry? Thank you for sharing. You make it look easy but I need to start from the very beginning! Any resources you recommend to get started? Past creating library’s and what a timeline is and things like that?

Hogwarts has an excellent editing class. We usually just yell Cuticus the Videonus at everything and it just works most the time.
Haha for a starting place, I have a couple videos you can check out, they might be helpful to you!
Some of these are a little older and I would like to update them, so please excuse any slow paced and less professional videos, but I think the material is still very valuable!
Here's absolute basics, likely covers a lot of stuff you already know, but there are a few tips and tricks you might find helpful!
      th-cam.com/video/TEw-W2cW75w/w-d-xo.html
Here is a video covering every tool on the timeline.
      th-cam.com/video/Fnu6FiZ_Vd0/w-d-xo.html
And last but not least, here is a playlist of tutorials I find to be more beginner friendly on my channel!

Amazing that FCPX doesn't already have this kind of tool in the mask effects menu. For video editors, the need for object removal comes up all the time. The folks who use FCPX shouldn't always need to find work-arounds to do what other softwares do right out of the box.

Makes it more widely accessible to people so they can playback at the speed they enjoy learning at. Hope that helps!
