Cards need better art before it competes with digimon I'd say but still support both
I'm pulling for this campaign to work out. Great to see them catering to western audiences. Hoping everything goes well!
Hoping they really pour love into this bc there's very much a powerful market for a game that can essentially rally fans of nearly any IP. The anime screenshot art is a major turn off to many people (myself included) so if they can focus more on original arts and overall card design then that would really tell customers that they're serious about this game! Adding signed cards from VAs is also insanely smart and should very much be continued, what better way to attract attention to your game than by having cards of beloved characters signed by their respective VA!!!!
The 3 IPs that I'll go severely into debt for are:
Black Clover
Fire Force
Chainsaw Man
Lastly, having planned expansions for existing sets will have to be a MUST bc there's no way I'll be able to get enough of only ONE set of my favorite IPs!
Unfortunately, they don't have any of those series yet. And only 4 of them have 2nd booster sets so far, but it's only been out 10 months so far.
So freaking hyped!!!! BANKAI!!!!!

The video said that applications closed on December 25th, is that true? And if that’s the case, will we have more opportunities to join? I’m struggling to find more information on the event website
Looks like spectator/general entry tickets are available until January 25th! It's just the big national tournaments like One Piece etc that are already closed.
@@batsutcg Was literally just thinking about how awesome it would be if Bandai would bring you onto the team! Youve given a lot to the community which also means youve given a lot to Bandai as well so that would be a dream come true to see you guys working together to make the IPs we love even more awesome!

You can't combine cards of different sets. So just but the series you like :D
Least like WS, yoy are limited to building a deck with just that series.
So in a way it'll save you on money in the end

In Yu-Gi-Oh terms I'm an OCG player so I've actually gotten the chance to play at local cardshops already. The game plays a little slow, but I'd say I prefer it that way. The card game is pretty fun from my experience, and the structure decks are a decent way of getting into the game, but they lack the good SRs so you will have to open boosters to upgrade and buying SR singles are really expensive from my experience. Each booster box has a fixed 4 SR hits and one Parallel I think? Just some extra info you might want when the TCG releases in NA, though this stuff may be subject to change.
Adding Yu Yu Hakusho (anime) will get me to play it!

Can y'all chill some on the additional card games? I feel like your cannibalizing your own market repeatedly. While it seems awesome and I feel hype, it just feels bad at the same time as people who play one game are likely to want to play multiples due to the IPs. And as a result a lot of people have to pick one or the other unless you make it readily available to keep the cost of entry down.

the thing I don't understand is why bandai have a japanese version in asia ( they should release games in english version). imagine releasing massive expansion in this games without understanding the text in the cards you have and memorizing not only your cards but your opponents also :(

@@LocalJanitor6 It is currently. It dipped for a little bit after the first initial releases, but the more recent IPs have brought it back up. That's just the nature of the beast when it comes to multi IP games like this.
Could we get the idolmaster shiny colours and code geass sets in English also if possible could we get a love live set? Looking forward this game's release next year
At that point you're stepping into the wiess schwarz/bushiroad realm with some of those ips which will be a nightmare trying to get over so u might as well play wiess at that point

@tyresewallace9146 forgot to mention that the japanese version of union arena has 2 sets for idolmaster shiny colours which is why I was asking for it
I guess it completely depend on how well the gameplay frequency is. It'll probably make it to a year if not, that is enough time for those sets. I would up picking up the Geass deck when i was on vacation a couple months ago

Im worried about this being too "complex" and people not enjoying it. I think the reason people enjoyed Digimon and the One Piece TCG was because it was simple enough to just hop in vs action points and energy etc. This happened to DragonBall card game too and WeissSchwarz. Idk I hope people play but I'm not feeling too amazing about it

it will most likely be a future set, the CG set is Fairly new in Japan. These are/were the starting sets JP got as well
Bandai is doing too many games. Hopefully this doesn't hurt one piece too badly since it already has allocation issues. I'd be fine to play this game if it doesn't kill one piece. If it has to hurt any games, hopefully it's dragon ball or battle spirits.

No Godzilla yet. In Japan they're doing anime and games. For example Tales of Arise.
Black Clover and SAO were also announced for next year.

I’m with ya, but there’s hope! I think theyre paying attention bc they really made a point to emphasize the original arts coming to English version so let’s pray that they deliver😭
Look at op01 and op02 even in one piece a pile of anime screenshots, now some of the arts are just gorgeous and there is a pile of original arts
@@pepehands9364 Yeah they’re actively trying to provide an original art to every relevant card in those sets that had anime screenshots. They definitely know that’s what we want so hopefully they take notes and make Union Arena hit the ground running
