What a great man well done for going beyond your prison duties to reach out to those less fortunate. You can always tell when one is educated ..Brilliant interview.

This is a very wise brother. His analysis of the scope and scale of corruption among us Ghanaians is spot on. His stories about the incarcerated are touching and eye opening.

@Djnyame The starting salary for police constables in England, Wales and Northern Ireland is £21,402. The average salary is £26,199, rising to £41,130 after seven years of service. The average salary in Scotland is £26,737, rising to £41,578 after ten years of service. Though some do overtime to top this pay, there's no bribery in any where within the police service. Many unskilled jobs get paid more than this. We Africans greedy for material things which is why there's bribery and corruption every where in our society.

Is that monthly pay or else is too low. US police officers recruits make mostly between $40,000 - 50,000 pa starting out. Varies greatly from small to big cities.

Massa, you were waaaay off about the politicians. If they only come for four years, and their number is over 200, just calculate the amount if the individual is squandering $2 million. This is four years after four years after four years. The market women are just doing business. Business is like that everywhere. Otherwise, Bill Gates wouldn't be Bill Gates today. I understand the lies that the parents tell their children, and it's very bad. But never never defend the politicians. Great interview, Mr DJ Nyaami.
