Fantastic.....fanstastic job reviewing this. Thank you for your attention to detail in description and photos, and your slow / steady way of delivering the info. Very helpful
Just grabbed one of these with the level one equipment group and love it. Didn't order the air ride but I find it's very smooth like the 2016 I had with air ride. After I put heavy winter tires on the air ride it wasn't nearly as smooth. I don't think one needs heavy tires unless they are in mud or heavy packy snow.
They've made these super smooth even without air ride compared to previous models for sure. I always see these trucks with big mud tires but mainly just for show.
Thanks for the review! I love your presentation concept! clear image and great angles! Also love how you point out all the details as we go! Love your content!!! Thanks.
We have this exact truck in black with gold Diamond dust. Just drove to Miami from Indiana and back. Beautiful ride. Power to pass cars when needed. Love a HEMI. Great commentary btw
You now get the updated Uconnect 5 system, no more 10th anniversary for the Longhorn trim, tailgate handle now has a light under it just from what I can remember.
There's no doubt that RAM makes the best trucks right now. They offer a variety of options for just about everyone's needs, whether it be luxury or function. The problem is that the Limited Longhorn in this video costs over $100K CDN. That's egregious!!! Sure, manufacturers have every right to make a profit, but there's no bleeding edge technology in this generation of RAM trucks. Everything has been around for quite a while. It's just now being packaged together with overall improvements to the basic truck. RAM is making a mint off these trucks. They could easily make even more money by lowering their margins in each truck; and making up the difference by selling more trucks. They would then gain a larger share of the market, which would put them in a much stronger position, going forward.
Totally agree with you on that. The pricing is a bit crazy especially on the higher trims but seeing other trucks similar to this, I can see why Ram can charge what they charge. Hopefully, in the future there are some price adjustments which would definitely help Ram takeover the number 1 spot.
Selling more at a lower margin isn't an option right now, that is basically what they used to do, but with the chip shortages, volume sales aren't an option for any vehicle manufacturers. We are stuck with higher prices for the foreseeable future.
@@michaels7984 I don't buy the whole "chip shortage" argument. I'm an IT Professional with 3 decades under my belt (not including my personal hobby, before then). There are at least 10 American semiconductor companies that can easily accommodate the demand for microchips in the West, 4 of which are giants in the industry: AMD, Intel, Nvidia and Texas Instruments. The problem isn't whether the _"can"_ get microchips. It's whether they have the will to make it happen. Manufacturers are so happy to fleece their customers for as much as they can, for as long as they can, they have ZERO incentive to bring the costs back down to a reasonable level; and even if the government forced them into it, they would still overcharge, using any excuse they could imagine, to justify telling us to bend over, grab our ankles and smile. Between the Unions that drive up the cost of manufacturing and the Corporations that try to maximize their profits *_"AT ANY COST,"_* they don't seem to be able to understand that they're shooting themselves in the foot. If they don't work on bringing down the cost of their vehicles, then only the rich will be able to afford their products, but unfortunately they won't have any workers to manufacture them, because nobody will be able to afford the damned vehicles to get to work!!! Everyone has a right to earn a profit, but when you price yourself out of profitability, then you only have yourself to blame. Vehicles are becoming far too costly. Even SUV's and cars (which are becoming more scarce) are ridiculously priced. Nope! A massive reset is required; and the costs of just about everything needs to come DOWN massively. The business model that requires a 10% annual profit leads to corporate suicide.
If you could get the black out package or sport hood on this model then yes. The standard hood is ugly and the sport hood on the limited personally makes it an Easy decision for picking the limited instead
@@EverythingCarReviews right? It could have a sport hood and special 22’s and some black and I would of Bought one. I live the brown interior vs the all black boring limited. My favorite interior. The feel of the wood and the crocodile trim just never is done justice in pictires or videos.

great video, just ordered one today. Should have it in 6 months according to dealer, good times on logistics issues.
Congrats! Hopefully it comes early.

I’ve only had problems with air ride suspension. Cold weather hit and it wouldn’t build air and raise the truck it was annoying

How much u spend in gas
ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE EXTERIOR OF THIS BEHEMOTH!
Wish I could get the Limited Night Edition with this interior
That would be nice!
Finally somebody that thinks like me lol
Will the Uconnect 5 be updated for the 2020 longhorns?
Not for 2020 but I'm sure there would be a way to get it.
Just got the limited and it's very nice
I'm not a truck guy. This truck is really nice. I would buy this truck in white, if I did buy a truck. I currently own a convertible Lexus LC500.
Loving the videos on the new 2022 RAMs! Keep it up
I appreciate it man!
whats new in the 2022 compared to the 2021 longhorn?

No wonder why ford is the number 1 selling truck
NO - 4 engines not 3. You forgot the 3.6 24V VVT eTorque Engine. the 1st one listed on the Ram build site.
Not on this truck. Only 3 options for this.
@@EverythingCarReviews It lists the 3.6 L V-6 as the ( Standard engine ) on the Longhorn.

Gorgeous truck !
One of my favourites!
Good thing the back seats recline so I can sleep in it since it costs as much as my house. It's absurd these trucks are valued this high.
2nd only to the Limited 10th anniversary edition.
The Longhorn is definitely unique especially the interior.
Air ride is also an option
Of course, I showed it on the window sticker.
I bought one less than a month ago. The front license plate bracket was not included. Have to purchase separate 😡
Love this Big Mama. Just finding the Most Beautiful Color.

Really starting to like the interior on these as well!

Ramboxes can't go in the longer beds but wheel size doesn't make a difference, at least in their truck builder
