Thank you very much for posting this excellent video with beautiful music. I'm from the UK and hoping to bring 3 generations of my family to West Coast USA in 2017 and this has really whetted my appetite. Thanks again
I lived in Venice and worked in the palisades. This was my daily trek for years. Temescal canyon road, aka heart attack hill, use to do me in, but I got it in no problem. Love this
Beautiful music ...beautiful place...beautiful video! I lived there forty years ago and will return soon. All that area was my mom's stomping grounds eighty years ago and still just as beautiful.
I live in the "concrete jungle" of Houston, Tx, but I've been a California dreamer forever, now it's time to actually move there....been there and luv it! Great video!

Hi Danu! I love your bike tour of my childhood stompin' grounds. This is where I was born (St. John's Hospital) and raised. I lived in Culver City, but we spent almost as much time at the beaches, as we did at home. Looked a little different 68 years ago.
Thank you Starrmtn001. I am sure after 68 years only reminiscence would be the palm trees that lined the path way along the beach and many other streets of SoCal. So glad you've found part of your life in this video.
Some things have not changed Danu. The beaches are still clean, and the ocean is still blue. I love that! Also, I forgot to mention how much I love your background music.
starrmtn001 yea, remember the old senior center that remained abandoned for decades? I loved walking around that place at night in the late 80s. Memories.
The bike path is shared with pedestrian and joggers which gets very crowded especially on weekends but it's nice to do people watching at the same time as leisurely riding, namethatrock.
Thanks for this great video. We will be cycling from Seattle to San Diego; should be in SoCal in mid-July. Probably going to be more crowded. Can`t wait. Pierre from Gatineau Quebec Canada.
Excellent video! Thanks for posting. Planning a ride from Santa Monica Pier to wherever I wind up south of there and back soon. Any suggested stops or destinations you may have would be appreciated.
Really nice ride....here in south Florida ...Boca Raton area we have some nice paths but not like this..... but we are getting there.....thanks for the vid!
17 km long the path !! super you must be happy to live in so a amazing Landscape ich beneide Dich sehr the best wishes for the future for you Gesundheit jane
Done this a few times--it's a wonderful bike ride --you picked the best music for this journey! Thanks for posting! Try biking south from Venice to Redondo Beach! --equally fun! i did my workout today with this video..it was really cool cruising along the beach.the only thing i didnt like was that music..i putted it off and listened to ocean waves while i was on the bike ;)
England is a great place to be. You are very fortunate to be there and you should be happy wherever you are. You can always travel and see how it's like at other places in the world but in the end, home will always be the place you grew up in.
Where ever you go, there you are. It took me a long time after receiving that book as a gift to understand the title. It's cliche, but I'd You're not happy where you are, you will be running from yourself. I didn't understand that for me, I needed to learn to love myself by taking care of myself better like I did others so I didn't become resentful and to stay well, learning better communication skills, reducing my extreme anxiety, writing caffeine, learning about boundaries, my trauma, making priorities. I did end up home by the hand of God because I prayed he make sure spiritual matters came first and my prayers were answered! I pray to always follow God first. But I hope you make the transitions that are best for you! PS I love this casual long ride! Can't wait to watch this n ride on my new/used soon bike! I loved in LA for 3 years back in the day and it became a 2nd home to me and I rode my bike there all over the place from Korea Town to Huntington Beach. Through Holkywood and Culver City. So, this is like one of the many dreams I have where I'm riding through town on ba hover board or jet pack! So fun!
@@youtubingbabs Oh come on now and give the chap a break, can you imagine how depressing it must be living in wet miserable old england? Harry and Megan split to Cali!

+Danu goldenpowergroup the palm trees were small, at man's height back in the sixties, I believe the City had just about planted them.
