I just woke up, turned on TH-cam, and found this brief story in my Best Pics File. I never heard of Melanie until 5 minutes ago, and I’m sitting here crying like a baby. I want to send my heartfelt condolences to Robert and his beautiful babies. Melanie indeed, was a life well lived. I have no doubt, that Melanie’s life will continue to touch many, many others just like she did with me this morning. My prayers and heart felt sorrow goes out to all those who are grieving Melanie’s passing. 🙏♥️🌹♥️🙏

Oh my. My condolences to Mr. Ham and children. Melanie didn’t know but she taught me to sew. I couldn’t even sew a button on. Now I’m making quilts. God bless you all. She was an amazing teacher and her light shined like a beacon. 🙏🙏
Melanie inspired me to quilt and my love for sewing comes from watching her videos on TH-cam. This is a total shock and I can't believe someone so beautiful has been taken from us. May God lift up her family during these times and one day I will meet her in heaven. RIP.
My eyes are filled with stinging, hot tears-- for I am JUST NOW reading this post of this lovely young ladies passing! After I had subscribed, I saved one of her tutorials and was reading a few of the comments, and to my shock, it was then that I discovered that this creative young woman-- is no longer here-- and I had to find out what happened! I offer my deepest heartfelt 💕 prayers and condolences to her family, her precious children and husband, in this hour of their fresh grief 😔 21 Dec 23 Thursday.

Rest in peace Melanie. We always say death happens by fate and its never expected, even if it is expected its still a shock when it happens. Please get yourself regularly checked, you never know what your body can be hiding from you. My aunt passed away in 2014 with breast cancer, her death was a huge shock to the family. She was diagnosed in 2009 and her cancer was treated. Then it came back in 2014 and spread all over her body and killed her. She had 2 kids and her oldest was only 9. Another story is my story. I was diagnosed with scoliosis which is an abnormal curvature of the spine. Most commonly it happens in the thoracic spine (upper back) according to stats 98% of scoliosis patients have it there, but I was part of the 2% who had it in the lumbar area which is a lot more complicated to fix. When I was first diagnosed the doctor literally said to my mom thank god you brought her because her degree is 45 degrees, if you hadn't brought her in she wouldn't survive past like 15 or 16 years. I was 12 when I was diagnosed. I had 2 surgeries done and more to come. I had one to fix my scoliosis which was 8 hours long but unfortunately my surgery was done incorrectly so I had a revision surgery which was about 9 hours long when I was 16. And now I'm turning 20 in a couple of months, I finished my IB diploma with amazing results, got into my dream university and am half way through my bachelors degree. I have the most amazing family, friends, classmates, teachers, and doctors I could ever ask for. Morale of the story is get yourself checked regularly. If I hadn't gotten myself checked, I probably wouldn't even be alive today. Again RIP Melanie, my heart goes out to her family and everyone who was affected by the news of her death.
