This young priest sounds timid. And the lady sounds like she doesn't know anything and just says innane things that everyone else says.
Praying for them that Our Lord grant them wisdom and fortitude.

You can do anything you want. Should you? Objectively no Catholics cannot be tattooed without sinning with the sole exception of parsimony of matter. Modernist exegesis and situation ethics will not circumvent the ancient tradition of the Church which considered tattoos a form of mutilation because they were contrary to our created nature. You need to listen more closely to the distinctions Fr. Chad was making.

It's important in understanding the screpture to look at the reasons for the instructions given. In the beginning of the chapter it says, "speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel so the instructions given were not only for the Levites; also the reasons given why it shouldn't be done relates to holiness. "Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel and say unto them, "you shall be holy for I the Lord your God am holy."

I almost thought i was watching the Waltons with John Boy. This is pretty good talk especially for the younger generation that are constantly following the louder and wilder one in the group. Gives them something to think about. A tattoo is not easy or cheap to remove.

So basically, people can still cite Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13 against gays, but they can ignore the rest of the book.

A Catholic priest comparing their Spiritual Baptism as a tattoo, should not be a Catholic priest. Shameful. I am a Baptised Catholic & I want nothing to do with tattoos. Do not attempt to taint all Catholics with your contorted thoughts. If you want to be like JESUS - do not have tattoos, do not have body piercings. You step away from JESUS by doing that.

@@identytarysta2892 That's wonderful to hear. I came here thinking that I would hear the truth, but instead from the above video, we were handed more moral relativism instead of the truth. Everyone needs to hear the honest truth. I think that this priest and this woman in the video were encouraging people (or at least not discouraging them) to get tattoos.

If you got the “Tattoo” in the past and sin, "in good faith" that is, not knowing it was a sin !!! Than simply have a firm purpose of amendment to not do it again !!! But it is a sin in our faith,Knowing it's a sin and doing it anyway !!!! It is a sin for the person doing it, and the person who neglect to say so.
Leviticus 19:28 you shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the Dead, neither shall you make in yourselves any figures or marks. I am the Lord.
    1) getting tattoos is sinful
    2) tattoos go way back to Pagan times and Ways that we are to reject.
    1 Corinthians 6:20
    Romans 12:1
    Ephesians 4:24
    1 Peter 1:14
Are just a few, that wise and virtuous men show us that tattoos are sinful.
Christendom’s prohibition of tattoos, shows us that they are sinful.
St. Basil the Great condemns tattoos, showing us that they are sinful.
Tattoos are sinful because they are bodily mutilations against the Fifth Commandment.
God made man to be without sin and to be perfect in soul and body; tattoos are sins because they harm that perfection God intended.
Our bodies belong to God, and tattoos are sins against God’s rights over our bodies.
Tattoos are a sin of vanity and against the virtue of modesty (regardless of where they are on the body).
One sign that tattoos are sinful is that society accepted them only as part of a broader acceptance of evil beginning in the 1960s.
Tattoos are sinful because they are needless, long-term health hazards.
It is unreasonable and sinful to get a tattoo because people commonly regret doing so.
Tattoos are sinful because they are against our duty to look and act different from the barbarians around us.
Just as graffiti is against man's law so graffiti over your body is against God's law thinking that you can improve or do better thank God with graffiti
Tattoos are sinful because they are not Christ-like or Mary-like
The Demons of hell have access to everywhere and anything. Everything from Ouija boards, houses, children dolls, yes, and even animals !!! Anyone who has studied Exorcism knows, quite well, the battlefields and the hidden Trip wires that the Demons of Hell use. They hide in statues, in movies, in Tattoos, and even the ink used for the tattoos and the tattoo artist, who may be secretly a servant of Lucifer and could cast a spell on the Ink, and place a demonic spell permanently on your body !!! Who makes you far more prone to evil and demonic influences !!! And if the tattoo artist uses ink that has been consecrated to Lucifer, and tattoos, demonic figures on other people, then in fact he is a servant of Lucifer !!!

dont qoute out of context. Leviticus law doesnt have anything with us. it was covenant God made with them. We have several covenants in the Bible which dont aply to us. Tattoo is a sin if we tattoo something ungodly (satan, 666, porn images etc) we had saints who few centuries ago who put name of JEsus with the fire poker on their body.
qouting leveticus always reminds me of protestants qouting passages against icons and statues using Bible out of contexts.

I’m a Marian Catholic 58 year’s young and am getting Catholic tattoos to evangelise through them. If my Catholic tattoos brings one Catholic back to the holy Catholic Church which is the ONLY CHURCH THERE IS and bring one person to the holy Catholic Church then it’s all worth it!!! God bless. Praise Jesus and Mary always!!! Ps please watch the warning or illumination of conscience by Christine Watkins. Then The Papacy can NOT be destroyed. Then Following Padre Pio. Then Don’t call protestant’s Christian! Please read True Devotion to Mary by St. Louis de Montfort who also said there’s NO salvation without devotion to Mary!!!
