Actually works! Before this I tried everything and the cheapest flight I could get was with frontier for 1100 for 2 adults and 2 children. Now I’m on delta with 2 adults and 2 children for 800$$$. Thank you! Saved us from a miserably uncomfortable and expensive flight.
Hi Allyson, So to book one ways for cheaper price. Can I go ahead and do that for each flight before I ever leave town.? How good of a chance would I have to get them all reserved in an itinerary of to and from for the entire trip. Example: Indy to Tampa, Tampa to Caymans, then back again same route. Thanks!
I found Turkish Air from SFO-TLV-SFO r/t for $692 r/t for towards the end of this month til the end of November. I went ahead and paid for seat assignments at the front of the plane. UA was the same and Turkish offers better service despite a stop at IST vs. the nonstop. Also Turkish has the 3--3-3 777W . They have the better meals and I get to use the Priority Pass lounge at IST and AMEX Lounge at SFO. What could be better?
Sometimes it can be. But it's a gamble :( they could also skyrocket even more! This summer, it seems as though tickets are getting more and more expensive because airlines are trying to make up for the loss of this past year. Try looking at all possibilities and try different airports. Sometimes I've found that finding a cheap airport to fly into, like Chicago to Dallas will be cheap and then search for your final destination from Dallas and purchase two separate tickets. I dont know why, but it can be cheaper.
Also a thing worth nothing when it comes to cheap airline fares is competition on the particular market segment your located. For example: a ticket from JFK New York to Kingston jamaica might cost you anywhere from $500 - 700 depending on season and also airline. For that same price I could fly out of one of the major east cost hubs and pay less than that to fly 14 hours to Asia. So market saturation is always the plus to get cheap flight. Also help to have a good privacy browser to search around.
Hi Jessah! I was in the military for 4 years and saved up every penny I could so I could travel full time for 2 years. Now I settled down in Colorado and again, save every penny I can so I can go on small weekend trips. I prioritize travel over a lot ofphysical items, like new clothes. It's hard but definitely worth it!
Awww! Thank you for taking time to respond to my comment. I’m travelling back to the Philippines this June with my 4yr old. More power to you and your channel! ❤️
Hey so do you have a tip about driving to the popular airport and parking there so you could have the cheaper flight? The closest one to me is about 2 hours away. I think you could park at an airport but it cost money obviously to leave it there a week or more. Have you heard of anything on a budget that could help in that type of situation? Maybe parking somewhere else, at a public area? Maybe just getting a bus ride instead of driving yourself? Idk LOL
Great question! Usually what I do is one of these 3 things - 1.) I find a friend or family member to drop me off at the airport and pay them gas money. 2.) I use public transportation. such as a train or a bus. and sometimes those long term parking lots can be much cheaper. or I uber to the train or bus station and then hop on 3.) I use the website cheapairportparking.org to compare prices and find the cheapest option. It's hard to find the cheapest option and definitely takes some digging. That's why my go to option is number 1. But it hasn't always been possible for us. And the other 2 have worked for us :) Hope that helps!
Do you pick the cheapest flight without carrying too much about the airline status? I want to fly to France and I found a flight for $400 to $600 but the airline's reviews are not as great. I want to know how you pick your airlines.
Great question! It's all personal preference. I'm not too picky on customer service or services provided in flight. All I really care about is if I get there safe 😁🤣 so it's all based on whats important to you!
@@AllysonSpieler when is the cheapest time to fly to Brazil? And what was thr cheapest you saw? Cheapest I saw was $600 but idk if it goes cheaper than that.
Yes they are! Although, I have never actually booked through the app. I just use it as a tool to find the cheapest days and usually book directly through the airline or expedia :)

Awesome! I paid over 500 to Phoenix from TX and I wish I knew about this but it was an impulse trip! Definitely looking at sky scanner now
Yes definitely do! It's a life saver ❤
WOW THANK YO SO MUCH. I found flights between $28 -$50 for LAX/DFW!!!! I have not seen my brother since 2002 and he just agreed to visit me.

How do you finance all of your trips? I love travelling too but due to financial circumstances I don’t get to do that always.

It’s so beautiful in there! I suggest go to Palawan, Siargao or Siquijor. ❤️
This was EXACTLY what I needed! Thank you for the walk-through!!!
You are welcome! :)

Excellentans fresh video! is what I was looking for. Thank you!
Can you help with flights to Portland Maine ? I tired of searching -/ getting frustrated.
Just Curious can you reserve seats doing it this way
I like emergency exit as my legs are long especially on long flights
Great Video
Yes! There is usually an option to choose your seats on most airlines!
Great video Allison. I'm flying from San Diego to Portland, Oregon July (15-19) any ideas?
Make sure you also check southwest airlines! They sometimes have better deals :)

How flexible is cancellations on Expedia/ sky scanner
It depends on each flight. When booking, it will tell you the cancelation policy.
Great content. Thank you
Thank you! So glad you enjoyed it
Have you ever been to Brazil?
Yes I have! I loved it. I've been to Recife and Porto De Ghalinas.
@@AllysonSpieler when is the cheapest time to fly to Brazil? And what was thr cheapest you saw? Cheapest I saw was $600 but idk if it goes cheaper than that.
I've actually never flown into Brazil. I was on a cruise ship and then flew out of Brazil. So I'm not sure of the answer to that. So sorry! :(
@@AllysonSpieler its okay

Are the apps legit? I’m seeing so much bad ratings under each app and that scares me.😂

@@AllysonSpieler Ok, thanks for letting me know
You make it look easy but this site is a mess
It does need some improvements, unfortunately!
Frontier is dedicated better then they used to be
I went on the site... on the calendar it said 350 and when i clicked it it turned into 950
That's happened to me a couple times on flights. I don't know if it's a glitch in their app or what. But it's definitely disappointing:( sorry!
Try switch your browser to incognito mode when your searching around for cheap tickets. It sometimes work out better.
Hey, thanks for the tutorial video but I just gotta say; I live in Iowa and its a great place.
Oh I'm sure it is! I haven't been. I've been to 45 states but Iowa is still one I need to visit! Do you have any recommendations?
