I just graduated university and I bought myself a Seiko Presage SRPG07, I would say the Longines spirit Zulu would be my fav watch, well done on 30k!!🎉
Bracelet is definitely the way to go on this one (imo). Much more presence, indeed, and the tone is quite suitable for steel. You're going to love it, enjoy.
Honestly, I prefer Islander Watches. They're cheap, good quality materials (and made from Seiko parts, I think) even their lume is outstanding. I particularly like their bracelets and DD Saphire crystals.
@@darkcggaming identity? Islander Watches are named, just as Seiko timepieces. There's just not as much "provenance." And Seiko is just as cheap.. unless you're talking Grand Seiko.
it's a $700 seiko, why would you think the bracelet would be any better than it is? hell, even most grand seiko bracelets are just blah. if you want a nice bracelet, then get a rolex

Beautiful watch. Seiko is known to make a ton of limited editions. I read they had 80 limited editions one year, so it's their game .
Definitely, though I can't recall any other limited edition they've made that is basically a mirror of a non-limited watch they've released after.
@@ChronometerCheck yes maybe true
Nice color match with the teal blue corvette vehicles from the ‘60’s. Me like - me want.
Great video. 6R35 has 21,600 bph, I do wish it was a 4hz movement as well tho lol
Mines due to be delivered tomorrow, lovely piece on the bracelet gives it more presence than on the strap

Nice video BUT I get dizzy from how much you moved that watch, leave it on a stand next time please.
Lol, understandable. I am trying to make it a habit to keep the watch more steady while also moving it away from glare
That is an amazing colour combination.I just wish they put a nice rubber strap on it.Better looking than the Green one.
This watch deserves the alpinist case back, for heritage
I’ve Got one and for me is the most beautiful alpinist
I'm with you. It's my daily wear.
@@ChronometerCheck btw, you’ve got a new subscriber here in Madrid!
The case is the same dimensions (39mm diameter) as the SARB 017, I have them both and love them.
Have this one and love it. Beautiful dial!
What do you think of this watch? Should Seiko have made this even after creating a limited edition that is very similar?
Beautiful dial!!!
I can’t seem to find this watch. Is it out of production?
Yeah, they stopped the production
What strap would you pair your SPB197 with?
Strapcode oyster brushed + polished
I was thinking of that combo too and it would look kinda like nomos club sports
Where dou you get this watch?
Masters In Time
@@ChronometerCheck been waiting for 3 months at least , they are out of stock🤦♂️

Where did you get this from? I think Europe exclusive?
No, the limited SPB199 is the Europe exclusive. The SPB197 I believe was a JDM release.
@@darkcggaming Ahhhh ok, thanks for clearing that up. I confused regional exclusivity with limited edition. Good to know.
Learn how to hold your hand steady, I had to take dramamine!
Lol, fair point, apologies. Any shakiness is largely magnified by the zoom of the macro lens.
