I built the galaxy set and was suprised how enjoyable the build was! The Artemis is in my backlog, but one reason I don't find these boring or repetitive is due to work, kids, working out, home projects, I might only build 3-4 bags at a time.

With so many Lego set announcements eliciting a yawn from me (too predictable, too conservative, almost always way too expensive), the Artemis set has suprisingly piqued my interest. Yes, the build looks repetitive, but its verticality means it won't take up too much desk/shelf space, and I'm impressed that they've included not just the rocket but that highly "greebled" gantry. I never look at sets as parts farms, just things in themselves, so for me it doesn't matter in the least how many of a particular part are included or how rare they are, just what the build is like and how the final display looks.

When I first saw the Artemis, I thought “Cool. I need it.” Immediately, realized that I don’t need it for the same reason as you. I just don’t want to build it. The Eiffel Tower is the first huge set I haven’t bought, because I thought it would be boring to build. I love building huge sets. Artemis is the same, just not as much. I’ll save my money for Notre Dame and Barad Dur.

It’s hilarious that people are saying a set is too repetitive when they haven’t even built the thing yet. Sometimes the end result is worth the trouble, no?

The galaxy set looks like an alien city when flat on a table. I'd like to use the Artemis set for spacecraft MOCs, something other than Star Destroyers that humanity could build in two hundred years or so.😂

Wait! At 04:29 does Lego have a Globe in the background that is not their set ? 🤦🏻‍♂️

Lol, good catch! Missed opportunity for the boys in Billund.

Both nice sets, but once again I see Lego have made them exclusive. Why do they keep making these arts sets exclusive?
Is it to keep the prices high, I guarantee these sets won’t be big sellers if locked to Lego only.

Was 50/50 with both, now im 100% not bothered about either. I HATE STICKERS...So Artemis is now a huge no. So tired of paying plenty for sets that end up looking poor, 250 on the Orient Express and every time I look at it I hate it and wish I had bought anything else. Milkyway looks great from a DISTANCE, so make sure where ever you intend to display it has room, 15 foot at least, less and you will see lots of lego not a picture...and I just dont have the space unfortunately, need a bigger house clearly...maybe I could put it in the garden?

I personally am on a space bender (love almost all the space sets this year) - however ... the huge NASA one is a skip for me (just because it's NASA and microscale). On the Milky Way .... I am torn. I don't particularly like it as a milky way representation ... but I can imagine it looking great behind my super awesome Space 2024 Sets and MOCs (I'm getting so many of these ... first line of lego sets that I actually love ... only things getting at this level for me are the castles they do, but those are not lines of sets sadly).

These sets are not my thing at all. But that's fine. Not everything has to be for everyone.

The space ship is well done but nothing like that would I ever buy. if I want a model I would get a legit model, Lego is a toy and play ability should be part of every set. At least those are the only ones I am into... classic castle and maybe pirates.

Lego has been backing itself into an interesting corner with its 18+ marketing: more and more they're creating things akin to models, but because of the very nature of Lego, these "models" can only ever be abstract and never approach the realism of scale and detail that an actual model kit can. So, as an adult with Lego, you get half-baked, abstract models, which do have the benefit of being relaxing and simple to build verus real model kits, or you get the playsets designed for kids that we're too old to play with.

@@SO-ym3zs got ya. Yes space is fictional thank you. Artemis is a personification of a moon goddess so when they show you a rocket that they shoot into the ocean and the masses think it is going into fake space all that is really happening is more worshipping of the moon in the form of a 🚀👌🏽👍🏽💪🏽
