@Rebecca Lynn Stewart Then, explain how Jeff's DNA was never found anywhere on Kat's body??? She had no life insurance policy to collect from, granted both their fitness apps recorded their daily movements throughout the day, but that alone isn't enough for an overall conviction.
Circumstantial Evidence presented at Jeff's Trial: fitness app daily walking counts
No DNA tested: fingerprints, no saliva, no fibers, no touch DNA.
The only injury was her head and she was never dragged or picked up off the ground meaning she never moved, which would indicate two separate pools of blood instead of just one. When someone is moved or dragged there would be drag marks indicating that Kat was moved and she wasn't, she was found in the same position, her head was on the curb with her torso and legs in the street with a massive head injury. And explain how the glass bottle that was used never broke or shattered??? And only a sliver of glass fell off, when you have anything glass or ceramic and you hit someone over the head its going to shatter into a thousand pieces or more.

As someone who has lost a spouse, I reacted the same way. I was very calm and collected and didn’t cry until 3 days later. My body and mind was in too much of shock. We also had a baby together, and I was only 20 years old. So my first instinct is to put my feelings aside to take care of our son, and be collected enough to arrange his funeral. I didn’t have any reaction until months later when I was in therapy and had a breakdown from what had happened. It was such a out of body moment and you trick yourself into thinking everything is ok so you can function. 3 years later I still struggle with his death. Everyone is different, so I cannot say if he killed her or not. I feel like he didn’t, but who knows.

He didn't take a deal because he believed the Legal System would back him up by playing out, the truth would come out and he would be set free without any stain to his reputation. He was convicted because he 'allowed' his wife the Freedom and Liberty to live her life the way she wanted. Just like he fought wars on behalf of all Americans so they could do the same. I hope he appeals. That jury totally failed him.

I'm just so tired of people being instantly judged for their reactions. Can we stop with that? Everybody reacts differently. Just because they don't react the way you think they should doesn't make them guilty. If you're over-emotional you're acting. If you under-react you must be a sociopath. A lot of people have low to no emotional affect and we need to stop assuming that that's evidence of their guilt.

I got a call from my sister hysterically sobbing really early in the morning. NONE of it felt real. Absolutely none of it. I cried once when they were removing her body then my body immedietly shut off and became numb and felt nothing up until her actual funeral, when it all came out into this sobbing mess. But to my own family I couldn't cry with them or on them when they did, I'd be the one holding them because I was conditioned NOT to cry. Or feel. I thought something was wrong with me because I couldn't cry but it was just a mix of shock, conditioning and the fact I thought it was a sick joke.
But that emotion does come out. It comes out to people you trust or it comes out over time. My step-da, who found her, is a veteran and his body kicked into his training mode the second he realised she was cold beside him and couldn't be saved. The only time he cried was when I arrived and we locked eyes, because he had this bond with me where he became like my real dad. He kept it together because of his training too, but you can tell in how he speaks about her that he misses and loves her so much. He once told me he thought he was trained out of being able to love in the military because he doesn't feel it like he used to, but that's all his PTSD and trauma because he 1000% loves. It just feels number in comparison to before he went in and recieved all that training, so it shows in people very differently.

Not sure what they were smoking, but you can absolutely cause a fatal head injury by simply falling from your normal height. That’s the whole reason you’re supposed to keep a person awake after a fall until they’re properly assessed by medical professionals. A lot of behavior in that time can be observed to check for brain damage.
Alcohol is a blood thinner. In fact, in moderation, it’s been observed as preventing certain types of strokes in people over the age 65.
While I won’t completely rule him out (there’s always a possibility), this case can easily be seen as an accidental death, 100% done by Kat.
-Drops the bottle, chips a piece and it goes flying wherever
-Loses her footing and falls back, hitting her head
-Being inebriated, doesn’t feel the pain and gets back up after a few minutes, leaving blood behind
-Gets up, finds her phone, gets turned around trying to make it back home
-falls again across the street, phone and bottle in front of her as that’s where she let go of them. Possibly getting ready to push herself up, not having enough strength to do so. Dies as a combination of her injuries and the elements.

I can confirm that not everyone responds to the news of death in the 'expected' way of breaking down and crying... when police came to our house to tell my Mum that her son was dead, she was very calm and collected which she later said was probably her work mode from being a palliative nurse. Coincidentally it was also when viewing the body that she broke down, and from there was pretty inconsolable for months. It can seem suspicious but sometimes it is just how it is.

I'm thinking she went outside and left the door open. She probably tripped and dropped the bottle which explains why there's a piece of glass missing. When she came to, she probably found the bottle across the street, bent down to pick it up and the blood loss made her pass out all over again. Any way you look at this, it's tragic.

His phone tracked 18 steps between 11:03pm and 11:10pm and didn't track any further steps that night. This is when he probably fell asleep (some reports say he fell asleep on the couch, others say he went to the downstairs bedroom). The front door opened again at 1:51am. This is probably when Kat went outside looking for her phone. The door didn't close again until 5:12am which fits the timeline of Jeff waking up, searching for Kat, and closing the door himself when he saw it was open.

    • @MikeTXBC
      @MikeTXBC 2 ปีที่แล้ว +46

It depends on the weapon and how you trained. In most cases, someone is going to use their dominant hand; however, if someone trained to use their non-dominant hand, they will be better with that weapon than with their dominant hand. That said... beyond specific fighting styles and perhaps HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts, where you might use a shield or a parrying dagger called a "main gauche") it's extremely unlikely someone would specifically train to use any weapon with their non-dominant hand.
Also, contrary to popular belief, your non-dominant arm is usually stronger than your dominant; conversely, your dominant arm is usually far more accurate. The reason your non-dominant arm is usually stronger is because we tend to use that arm for grunt work. We'll hold heavier bags, books, our kid, and so on in that arm while using our right arm and hand to do things that require greater coordination.
For instance, it's extremely common for parents to hold their little kid with their left arm and use their right hand to fish keys out of their pocket to open the car door because most people are right-handed. In a left-handed person, you're usually see the opposite.

I know a girl who gave herself consecutive concussions while drinking heavily (she was getting over a break-up), and didn't act like she was in pain at all.
Also, I'm short, barely over 5 foot - are they seriously claiming that if I fall on concrete I can't severely injure myself? If I smack my head off the pavement I'm not going to get hurt??? Even if it's the curb??? That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. Bone density varies between people. A few years ago I tripped on the pavement and fractured my wrist just from reaching out to stop my fall. In school one girl stood on another girl's foot by accident and literally broke it. Human bodies are weirdly fragile at times.

    • @cabbagejuice

while i agree with you, those examples could be considered different tho. you have your wrist supporting the weight of your entire body and a large amount of that girl's weight on the other girl's foot. if you just fall it is not like something is pressing your head down onto the curb, its just a free fall. im not an expert but theres a lot of debate on what kind of force can cause a head wound, so its just another piece of their "evidence" that CAN be explained by something else (like the upside-down finger prints)

So dumb…my godsister hit her head on a chair when she was 10/11years old. She’s barely 5’ now at 47 years old. She bled like crazy. It definitely didn’t take much distance for that to happen. She tripped as she headed to see her mom in another room. She was sober. Kat was super lit. She could’ve knocked her head on something totally innocuous and then proceeded to walk into the street where she passed out and died. If police didn’t check every possible hard surface in the area, how can any of us really know how, or where, she received that head wound.

The door opening and closing at weird times just really makes it seem like it had to be him

Thanks for this. Today was horrible. I'm so uninterested in everything :( plus there is really nothing to do in my city. I wish I lived in LA or some other city where its hard to get bored :(
