I’ve wanted to do TH-cam since I was in high school. I recorded a makeup tutorial when I was 17, edited it, and then deleted it because I was so afraid of what people would say. Fast forward to 10 years later, I’m finally overcoming my fear. I hope to move my content to TH-cam in a few months and create longer videos.

As disgusting as it is, I guess the silver lining is that he’s so famous and widely recognized in Japan that most of his potential victims would know to avoid him. Since he’s still out and about and he’s vocal about his continued desire to eat people, I feel like his fame at least kind of poses an obstacle in terms of being able to sneakily “wine and dine” anyone. It’s probably a little more difficult to pretend he’s just an unassuming student of literature who wants to learn German. But then again, people seem to just treat him like he’s cool and quirky and they want to hang out with him, so maybe I’m wrong.

I was thinking about this for a little while, about why the french didn't want to hand over the court documents to Japan, and it might have been related to the sentence he most likely would have got in Japan? As far as I know, and correct me if I'm wrong, but France is against capital punishment, while Japan still has it, and Issei's crime most likely would have given him the death sentence had he been sentenced in Japan. So France might have held the documents back to prevent this? I have no idea though, it was just a thought.
When Issei was ruled insane he received a 'non-lieu'. In France's legal system it means everything was sealed and thus inaccessible. It's not that they didn't want to give the documents or because of any kind of moral objection. It was not legally doable.

Well the fact that Issei still struggled with step 1- "get a fking butcher knife" - suggests that he didn't learn much anyway. It sounds like he was 100% winging it and there was nothing methodical or informed about it. I mean, he never even intended to *butcher* anything, his plan was to just use his teeth and I'm guessing the butcher never thought to mention that's not how it's done.
I think Issei was just enjoying talking to someone who was as close to a pro at what he aspired to be as he could find. I am sure his brain was twisting it to make him believe that the butcher was really just like him.

As disgusting as it is, I guess the silver lining is that he’s so famous and widely recognized in Japan that most of his potential victims would know to avoid him. Since he’s still out and about and he’s vocal about his continued desire to eat people, I feel like his fame at least kind of poses an obstacle in terms of being able to sneakily “wine and dine” anyone. It’s probably a little more difficult to pretend he’s just an unassuming student of literature who wants to learn German. But then again, people seem to just treat him like he’s cool and quirky and they want to hang out with him, so maybe I’m wrong.

I was thinking about this for a little while, about why the french didn't want to hand over the court documents to Japan, and it might have been related to the sentence he most likely would have got in Japan? As far as I know, and correct me if I'm wrong, but France is against capital punishment, while Japan still has it, and Issei's crime most likely would have given him the death sentence had he been sentenced in Japan. So France might have held the documents back to prevent this? I have no idea though, it was just a thought.
When Issei was ruled insane he received a 'non-lieu'. In France's legal system it means everything was sealed and thus inaccessible. It's not that they didn't want to give the documents or because of any kind of moral objection. It was not legally doable.
