The iPhone 6s is great and I'm sure people who buy it will love it, but I'm totally in love with the S6 and Lollipop. I've owned dozens of Android phones but always end up back on iOS. This is the first time I'm truly happy with Android. And it's great. I love it.

I think this was a very fair and NON-biased comparison of both phones. I don't understand why people have to have this huge competitive and ridiculous back and forth war with these two phones. I went with S6 Edge, but definitely had a hard time deciding between the two. I've been w/ Android years but was seriously considering ditching them for the 6s.
With Apple devices, the specs on paper are pretty much meaningless. What truly matters is actual performance, which the latest iPhone more than delivers on.
True, on paper samsung's phones look so powerful, but really they are pretty much the same, because apple designs there hardware and software to work more seamlessly together, while Samsung doesn't design there software, they use android, which means they have to make a much more powerful phone to match apple!
Of course on paper the S6 will destroy iPhones. I can have 2 split screens open while 5 screens are displayed (I'm talking about spotify, tango, TH-cam and instagram all at once). That's a ton of power just in a phone. And the iPhone does what?
+Ry the samsung devices have more features running in the background so they need bigger specs thats why they have 3-4 gbs of ram and 8core cpus. The samsungs are feature and software heavy i can literally tell my phone to take a picture at any time the camera app is open. Iphones are simple and basic with a unique design. bottom line if you want more features and better hardware you go samsung.

To be completely honest with you guys. I love both. Apple or Samsung. I've had both. Apple is just a equal to Samsung to me. I think they're both fast. Both have slim breathtaking design. I think in terms of phone choices it just - really depends and comes down to preference. I'm sure there's a million reasons to buy a Samsung over an iPhone (and vice versa), but at the end of the day, it's a personal preference that makes the difference. And for me, that preference is the Gold iPhone 6s Plus!

Clean master also shows me .apk files just in case I already installed it and forgot to delete it which will never be a problem to iphone users...sadly. because it it a big disadvantageto not being able to install apps out side the app store. You can actually get an iPhone 6s Plus from #tmobile for under $500.00 (depending on your credit). I got mine for $469.00 (I have OK credit). However the "breakable" comment isnt very valid here. My device is waterproof and probably no more easily breakable than a phone would be. Just know, a better phone paves the way to a more successful and bigger thinking "you". I encourage you to broaden your perspective without going over what your income allows.

I noticed that iOS has an Extremely Responsive touch Experience then i read that it has a response time of (~20ms), most companies doesn't look into that & pretty-mush all smartphones including the 2015 flagships have around 100ms or more. 3rd Gen Console-Class Graphic Performance way ahead of the competition as you can see in the video. Extremely efficient Hardware ... i mean what's the point of having a 2.1Ghz 8 Core processor that breaks down against a 1.2GHz Dual-core. Quality Apps all around with Quality control on the store. & of-course it ain't easy for everybody to put a 240FPS@720p on a phone ! For all you mother fuckers out there, you need to have an iPhone ... use it for a while ......*** BEHOLD THE DIFFERENCE ***

iphone 6s hands down. Regardless of what anyone says, you can use an apple device for longer than the life cycle of andriod phones. Had my 4s since it came out, and it still works perfectly, running ios9.

iPhone 6s Mainly because I feel like it won't lag after couple years of use. Galaxy tends to get slow maybe due to its processor. iPhone is just awesome. :)
Love both phones. Trying to decide between the S6 edge and 6S Plus currently. I love the design of the edge, but iMessage and the simplicity of the system really keep me tied to Apple. iMessage is SO fast and it's a really understated integrated feature of the iPhone family in my opinion. Happy to see that the fingerprint sensor is so fast now too. Great video!
Hey Curtis! I recently got my mum an ipad but I can't figure out iOS (android user here). Genuine question: is there any way to download pdfs from the browser and access them offline? Using either safari or chrome. It may have downloaded the files but I can't tell as I can't get to the files. I'd normally just click the link on chrome (Android) which downloads it and I can then add the file to her home screen.
+Tommy Thai We can't view files offline with IOS but we can save pdfs. Open Safari (no other browser can do this due to Apple), go to the pdf you want saved, and click the middle icon towards the bottom. It's a square with an arrow pointing up. You can then choose the name and save it to the home screen. Offline viewing would be nice to have for IOS.
Henry Cunningham Damn... That defeats the purpose of my intent. My intention was to download the pdf itself (not just save the link to it) for offline viewing. I have sort of found a work around but it's a convoluted process which involves a third party app which has to be opened from within the same app. It's hardly an elegant or simple solution, so I was hoping there was another way. Thanks anyway Henry, I've learnt my lesson and will get my mum an android tablet next time (cheaper too) haha. I only really got it for her since it was meant to be simpler - like Curtis suggested.

You could always jailbreak it and see if there's a way to do it but sounds like a pain to do for one feature. Hopefully your android does he job when you get it. They features are superior to Apple's.
Henry Cunningham Indeed... That is a problem for me, I personally won't get an iOS device if I had productivity in mind. I know for a fact that android supports downloading of online files natively though: I'm a seasoned android user. The functionality is certainly there within the iOS software though.

i've been on the apple train since the iphone 4. I recently got the S6 in May, to try out Android and i gotta say, i hate it. It lags terribly and does whatever it wants. I've been told i just got a dud but no one knows whats wrong with it. So many people love the S6 but when i upgrade in December, im going back to iphone.
I have iPhone 6s, and I think it's tons better than Samsung. My opinion, but if you haven't tried iPhone, please try it now! Even if your just playing on your friends phone, it's not the same. iPhone is (my opinion) I think a bit nicer and good looking.

I have an iPhone 5 and I love it. Apple adds a more personal experience with their products, like Siri's sassy responses and iCloud saving/sharing. Android is a more business type phone, meant to get things done in a fast, smooth manner. Android does have a gorgeous camera. It's beautiful! But I still choose iPhone as a personal phone. My aunt used an iPhone as her personal phone and an Android as her work phone and between the two she had a great smartphone experience. It all comes down to preference though. My loyalty is to iPhone, but Androids are pretty amazing too! I could definitely live with either one!
Finally, someone that appreciates both Android and iOS! I personally prefer Android, but if I got iOS I could be happy as well. I just like the customization on Android, but we all have our personal opinions, some like simplicity, some like customization.
Hmm It's strange, because from what I've heard, Apple is liked because of their simple interface, while Android is hailed for their unmatched customizability and personalization. Apple is a very rigid software and barely anything can be changed. Android, on the other hand, values individuality above anything else, with widgets, plugins, extensions, themes etc. available everywhere.
+Tugg Speedman widgets, apps, wifi (and all that shit), features, and overall android/touchwiz requires more ram to run because android isn't as optimized to run on samsung devices than ios running on iphones.
+anthony shen Android will automatically use more ram if you have more available just to run smoother. When you have a 1 GB windows system the os itself only uses 600 MB but if you have 16 GB it will use 2GB.

Well going from an iPhone to a Samsung phone will be a huge change because Samsung's version of Android is so heavily modified. You probably won't like it at first just because it's different, but the beauty of Android is that if you don't like something, you can change it. Don't like the launcher? Download a third party one (preferably Nova, but there are tons of options). Don't like the icons? Download an icon pack. Samsung even has a built-in theme engine on the S6, so you can change the entire look of the OS to your heart's content if you want. Android is all about options, which iPhone users usually have a hard time adjusting to since iOS is so restricted. Even if you get the Galaxy S6 and don't like it, there are plenty of other great Android phones you could trade it for. I would recommends going for it. The only downside is that you'll lose all of your apps that you had on your iPhone, but you're probably prepared for that anyway.
It's really not as complicated as the other guy makes it sound lol... Just use an app called Smartswitch to transfer almost everything to your new Samsung phone. Rest is all personal preference. Though I do recommend an app called Nova Launcher. Very nice and clean.

@@samferr16 I keep my 6s as a side phone with a pixel 2xl as my main and I would have to disagree. My 6s is painfully slow and freezes on apps all the time in ios 12, something that was nonexistent in ios 11 and 10. I honestly just keep it for music or I would have just put it to rest completely
@@zxrfp Obviously it would seem slow if you're using a newer phone in conjunction with it. And as to your apps crashing, make sure you're on the latest updates, and that you've still got some space left on your phone as that can sometimes slow your phone down. Also a factory reset can significantly improve the speed of your phone (you can just get everything back from your iCloud/iTunes/Finder backup)
@@melvinharris7859 Im not an Android guy, but how is Android 10 supported on the S6 as software support was dropped after Android 7?? Custom roms don’t count and are not meant for average consumers. The iPhone 6S is still officially supported in late 2020 and smoothly runs iOS 14 full featured and it will keep receiving updates throughout 2021 making this iPhone from 2015 even perfectly usable and safe way into 2022.
Hello guys! Samsung for me is the last option I hate it now after using s4 and s5 because after two years of usage both phones showed problems like lag and app crashes and tried factory reset and I doesn't solve the problem also my s4's batter had swollen up for random reasons which caused my screen and it's back bulge forward and as for my s5 I dropped it from my pocket while I was on my PC ( a fairly low height chair) result just 2 cracks on the screen although my device was not turning on but when o touched it and swiped it made the unlock sound, I took it to the store and its they said its video card was broken, I was highly disappointed! For me Samsung sucks! I am currently using nexus 6 and its awesome! Never go for Samsung if you plan to keep it for more than a year ! Go for Motorola or Apple they both are better!
i have had my s4 black edition for nearly 1 and a half year, i must say its working really fine for me as of yet.no lag or any sort of problem apart from battery drains out quickly when i use internet other than that battery life is pretty awesome for watching movies and other stuff.
+waykool698 you do know you can set it up how u like, if u dont like touchwiz download another luncher (takes litterly 10 seconds) like the google now luncher, you can change basicly everything on the phone

Even today it has an awesome camera and great screen, battery has about 3 hours screen on time, even a year or two on and on 5.0.1 is very fast :)
I would love it if youtubers would come back and revisit these phones years later. I bought a galaxy s4 when it first came out, and within 1 year it was painfully slow. By the two year mark opening any application was a lagfest, forcing me to upgrade. At the two year mark the iphone 6s came out and I bought that. It's now been two years since it came out and it's just as fast as the day I bought it. Before I ever give another android phone a chance I want to know if they still slow down.

iphone is too overpriced. Not that Samsung is not, but you have to spend at least 100 dollars more for same Gigs that are in Samsung phone with lower specifications. Downgrade camera, display, ram, and processor compare to Samsung and still more expensive. This is ridiculous.
I told myself to revisit this video to see the longevity in both of these devices, and as much as the speed of iOS impresses some, it's the battery issues that come with each update that makes the S6 better. Also, reviewers are swayed by the smoothness of iOS, but I have one begging question for those people who swear by iPhones. Do you dread each iOS update,or are you looking forward to the new features they may bring? As an Android enthusiast, I can't wait for the next. The only thing Google pushes is enhancements, security, and new features and that's that.

With Apple devices, the specs on paper are pretty much meaningless. What truly matters is actual performance, which the latest iPhone more than delivers on.
True, on paper samsung's phones look so powerful, but really they are pretty much the same, because apple designs there hardware and software to work more seamlessly together, while Samsung doesn't design there software, they use android, which means they have to make a much more powerful phone to match apple!
Of course on paper the S6 will destroy iPhones. I can have 2 split screens open while 5 screens are displayed (I'm talking about spotify, tango, TH-cam and instagram all at once). That's a ton of power just in a phone. And the iPhone does what?

The samsungs are feature and software heavy i can literally tell my phone to take a picture at any time the camera app is open. Iphones are simple and basic with a unique design. bottom line if you want more features and better hardware you go samsung.

I'm sure there's a million reasons to buy a Samsung over an iPhone (and vice versa), but at the end of the day, it's a personal preference that makes the difference. I almost thought I wasted my money upgrading from iphone 5 to 6s, but the video and photo quality and especially the 3d touch are definetely worth the price.

Love both phones. Trying to decide between the S6 edge and 6S Plus currently. I love the design of the edge, but iMessage and the simplicity of the system really keep me tied to Apple. iMessage is SO fast and it's a really understated integrated feature of the iPhone family in my opinion. Happy to see that the fingerprint sensor is so fast now too. Great video!
Hey Curtis! I recently got my mum an ipad but I can't figure out iOS (android user here). Genuine question: is there any way to download pdfs from the browser and access them offline? Using either safari or chrome. It may have downloaded the files but I can't tell as I can't get to the files.
I'd normally just click the link on chrome (Android) which downloads it and I can then add the file to her home screen.
+Tommy Thai We can't view files offline with IOS but we can save pdfs. Open Safari (no other browser can do this due to Apple), go to the pdf you want saved, and click the middle icon towards the bottom. It's a square with an arrow pointing up. You can then choose the name and save it to the home screen. Offline viewing would be nice to have for IOS.

Damn... That defeats the purpose of my intent. My intention was to download the pdf itself (not just save the link to it) for offline viewing. I have sort of found a work around but it's a convoluted process which involves a third party app which has to be opened from within the same app. It's hardly an elegant or simple solution, so I was hoping there was another way. Thanks anyway Henry, I've learnt my lesson and will get my mum an android tablet next time (cheaper too) haha. I only really got it for her since it was meant to be simpler - like Curtis suggested.

You could always jailbreak it and see if there's a way to do it but sounds like a pain to do for one feature. Hopefully your android does he job when you get it. I have iPhone 6s, and I think it's tons better than Samsung. My opinion, but if you haven't tried iPhone, please try it now! Even if your just playing on your friends phone, it's not the same. iPhone is (my opinion) I think a bit nicer and good looking.

I have an iPhone 5 and I love it. Apple adds a more personal experience with their products, like Siri's sassy responses and iCloud saving/sharing. Android is a more business type phone, meant to get things done in a fast, smooth manner. Android does have a gorgeous camera. It's beautiful! But I still choose iPhone as a personal phone. My aunt used an iPhone as her personal phone and an Android as her work phone and between the two she had a great smartphone experience. It all comes down to preference though. My loyalty is to iPhone, but Androids are pretty amazing too! I could definitely live with either one!
Finally, someone that appreciates both Android and iOS! I personally prefer Android, but if I got iOS I could be happy as well. I just like the customization on Android, but we all have our personal opinions, some like simplicity, some like customization.
Hmm It's strange, because from what I've heard, Apple is liked because of their simple interface, while Android is hailed for their unmatched customizability and personalization. Apple is a very rigid software and barely anything can be changed. Android, on the other hand, values individuality above anything else, with widgets, plugins, extensions, themes etc. available everywhere.

When you have a 1 GB windows system the os itself only uses 600 MB but if you have 16 GB it will use 2GB.

I really want to replace my 5s with the S6, but I don't know how easy it would be for me to get used to Android. Anyone out there want to give advice for going from iOS to Android?
Well going from an iPhone to a Samsung phone will be a huge change because Samsung's version of Android is so heavily modified. You probably won't like it at first just because it's different, but the beauty of Android is that if you don't like something, you can change it. Don't like the launcher? Download a third party one (preferably Nova, but there are tons of options). Don't like the icons? Download an icon pack. Samsung even has a built-in theme engine on the S6, so you can change the entire look of the OS to your heart's content if you want. Android is all about options, which iPhone users usually have a hard time adjusting to since iOS is so restricted. Even if you get the Galaxy S6 and don't like it, there are plenty of other great Android phones you could trade it for. I would recommends going for it. The only downside is that you'll lose all of your apps that you had on your iPhone, but you're probably prepared for that anyway.
It's really not as complicated as the other guy makes it sound lol... Just use an app called Smartswitch to transfer almost everything to your new Samsung phone. Rest is all personal preference. Though I do recommend an app called Nova Launcher. Very nice and clean.

The S6/edge still look great today. Not so great to use anymore though, finishing on 7.0 nougat, and with no storage expansion and slower processors.
The iPhone 6s is still really fast (iOS 12 IMPROVED its performance), and still gets updates to this day.
@@samferr16 I keep my 6s as a side phone with a pixel 2xl as my main and I would have to disagree. My 6s is painfully slow and freezes on apps all the time in ios 12, something that was nonexistent in ios 11 and 10. I honestly just keep it for music or I would have just put it to rest completely
@@zxrfp Obviously it would seem slow if you're using a newer phone in conjunction with it. And as to your apps crashing, make sure you're on the latest updates, and that you've still got some space left on your phone as that can sometimes slow your phone down. Also a factory reset can significantly improve the speed of your phone (you can just get everything back from your iCloud/iTunes/Finder backup)

@@melvinharris7859 Im not an Android guy, but how is Android 10 supported on the S6 as software support was dropped after Android 7?? Custom roms don’t count and are not meant for average consumers. The iPhone 6S is still officially supported in late 2020 and smoothly runs iOS 14 full featured and it will keep receiving updates throughout 2021 making this iPhone from 2015 even perfectly usable and safe way into 2022.
Hello guys! Samsung for me is the last option I hate it now after using s4 and s5 because after two years of usage both phones showed problems like lag and app crashes and tried factory reset and I doesn't solve the problem also my s4's batter had swollen up for random reasons which caused my screen and it's back bulge forward and as for my s5 I dropped it from my pocket while I was on my PC ( a fairly low height chair) result just 2 cracks on the screen although my device was not turning on but when o touched it and swiped it made the unlock sound, I took it to the store and its they said its video card was broken, I was highly disappointed! For me Samsung sucks! I am currently using nexus 6 and its awesome! Never go for Samsung if you plan to keep it for more than a year ! Go for Motorola or Apple they both are better!

i have had my s4 black edition for nearly 1 and a half year, i must say its working really fine for me as of yet.no lag or any sort of problem apart from battery drains out quickly when i use internet other than that battery life is pretty awesome for watching movies and other stuff.

I would love it if youtubers would come back and revisit these phones years later. I bought a galaxy s4 when it first came out, and within 1 year it was painfully slow. By the two year mark opening any application was a lagfest, forcing me to upgrade. At the two year mark the iphone 6s came out and I bought that. It's now been two years since it came out and it's just as fast as the day I bought it. Before I ever give another android phone a chance I want to know if they still slow down.

I told myself to revisit this video to see the longevity in both of these devices, and as much as the speed of iOS impresses some, it's the battery issues that come with each update that makes the S6 better. Also, reviewers are swayed by the smoothness of iOS, but I have one begging question for those people who swear by iPhones. Do you dread each iOS update,or are you looking forward to the new features they may bring? As an Android enthusiast, I can't wait for the next. The only thing Google pushes is enhancements, security, and new features and that's that.
