  • In this video we show how to install our Hothead Headliners and Sound Assassin Strips in the new Ford Bronco 4 door. The Sound Assassin is installed with each panel as you must install it as you go from one panels to the next.

Great tutorial! I love that you all when through the entire process on video. My top arrives tomorrow. Now I’ll just have to figure out the best way to rip out the carpet that ford decided to install and call a free headliner.

Very happy with the Headliner Panels and Sound Assassin. Easy install after watching videos. Here are some of my tips, hopefully they are helpful to others. 1. If you have factory Roof Rails, you MUST remove them to get the middle panel out, so remove rails before you start. Find videos on TH-cam. That will take about 30 minutes and helpful to have a second hand lifting rails off roof. 2. My opinion is that Denatured Alcohol did a good job prepping the surface, and is much safer than Acetone if you are working inside and you splash/spill some liquid. 3. Go easy with the plastic roller included. I was bearing down while rolling on table, used way too much force, and broke mine. Could not find replacement in stock at local Big Box stores, so I used a $3 wide caster wheel to finish the job and it worked great.

I really liked my Hothead headliners that you installed on my then new 2014 Jeep JK. They have held up excellent ever since, and look like new reduced the felt heat and cold with the bonus of some sound reduction. I just sold the Jeep and got a new Bronco Wildtrak. Can’t recommend Hothead headliners enough, Thank you for this product…

Can I attach this to the liner that Ford already has on the top? I would think putting wide strips of the hook side of velcro to the back side of your panels would hold them just fine to the roof panels and would give another layer of insulation.

Do you have a kit coming for the 2-door?

We do plan on making a headliner for the 2-Door Ford Bronco, but do not currently have an ETA. We are in the process of making prototypes and are hoping to have them in the near future. If you would like to be notified of our Bronco product updates, please feel free to add your contact information to our Bronco update list below.

Double sided tape and Velcro are not inspiring enough for me to buy this product.

We use a high-quality, commercial-grade 3M VHB tape with a high heat rating of over 300 degrees. It's pretty serious (and expensive) tape and we are using more than enough for a proper weight-to-tape ratio.
