- A night ride with Tom, Lee, Jamie and Mac, getting shown some of the locals trails with Mac, (builder). Great night riding, trails.. Graveyard, Tea and Biscuits, Day of Triffids (new start) and Grrrrrrreat .
Conditions were excellent and the riding and apres beer was also awesome.

Nice vid Phil - all these years going up there and I've never done that first bit of tea and biscuits! So many good trails and keep being built. Just as well as we have lost a few - sounds like even the little plantation for Special K / Grrreat is being felled now. I'm still sad about the new gates across Smithills / Shooting Hut on Winter Hill. Feel inspired to go up Rivi this week🤘
There are loads to go at and easy to get at. Not been healey nab for ages too… did that get rebuilt? Thank you for watching:)
@Phil Crombie MTB yeah Nab was rebuilt I'm just too lazy with the push up. Did Rivi tonight Special K still got trees so maybe rumours are wrong. T&B will give a miss until I get my long travel bike next week 😂

Im new to MTB, found a couple of routes on all trails around Rivington which I’ve done but these look much better. Could you tell me where I can get these routes from please? Hopefully with a gpx file so I don’t get lost

I've downloaded and installed them so hopefully I'll get up there this week. It's showing as one long course at my side, is that correct? If so, is it obvious which route to follow and where to start and begin before moving to the next? Also, do you have insta? I'll follow you on there 👍🏼
@@DannyWashingtonPT yup just start at that pub (description has address) and follow the gpx which will take you in the exact route we did in the video so taking in all those descents and a bit of a xc back to the car at the end:) let me know how you get on :) also my instagram is Fhiyll but cos I’m old I don’t post too much 😂 good luck with the ride
