Nicolas to Maggie..."ah yes, your fiancé, what WAS his name?" hmmm and I LOVE the way Joe GLARES at Nicolas! This show is so much more than a daytime soap opera, when I watch it I feel as though I am in an alternate reality. OH, and Willie, get busy and clean those darn cobwebs out of the basement! Damnation! 😆😆😆
Funny how Joe was able to pick up a very bad vibe about Nicholas, but not from Barnabas when he was a vampire preying on Maggie. It tells me that Nicholas' vibe was truly evil.

Willie's objecting to robbing graves is funny since earlier in the series he was so gung-ho about trying to rob Naomi Collins' grave to get the Collins family jewels that he thought might be hidden there according to the family legend conveyed to him by Mrs. Johnson. In an effort to break into the grave of Naomi Collins, he inadvertently discovered a secret room in the rear of the Collins family mausoleum in which he found a chained coffin. Perhaps Willie is afraid of getting an unpleasant surprise such as he received in his first attempt at grave robbing earlier in the series. Willie should certainly be used to dealing with dead bodies from his experience as Barnabas' henchman when Barnabas was a vampire.
At 10:25 Barnabas states that he sent Willie to Dr. Lang's house to get Lang's journals. At 12:37 Willie enters and says that he got the books. This is further evidence that the house Nicholas Blair is renting is not the same house that Dr. Lang lived in as some, including myself, had speculated in the comments of earlier episodes before being corrected by one of the commenters. Some have continued to erroneously make comments about Nicholas renting the house Lang had lived in, despite the correction.
From what I remember they showed at least one or 2 exterior shots of Langs house before showing the interior scenes if memory serves me correct and his place looked bigger than the house that Nicholas is occupying on the Exterior. It's easy to be confused myself included because their are similarities on the interiors.
@@bruce8808 The Dark Shadows wiki states: Some fans confuse Blair House with Vicki's Seaview and sometimes with Eric Lang's house. On the original show three distinct exterior stills were used for these three properties. Seaview was a one-and-a-half story Cape Cod style house c. 1700s (see 294)... Lang's House (469, exterior first seen in 470) was a three-story Italianate mansion c. 1870 made of brick with stone quoins at corners, a mansard roof, wide brackets, hooded windows, and a large porch at one end... Blair House (549) was a three-story wooden shingled beach house in the Dutch Colonial style, with tall gambrel roof covering most of the second and third floors. It was perched on a steep sandy hill apparently overlooking the beach, with balconies at second and third levels and a large porch across the ground floor. While the foyer door and trim differed from Lang's House, Lang's drawing room fireplace and archway with double doors were incorporated into Nicholas' drawing room (formerly the Old House master bedroom, with window to right of the fireplace), including Lang's black marble Victorian mantlepiece. However, the rest of the set was renovated.
The writers on this show make it seem like all Dr. Lang had to do to create Adam was to "sew" body parts together. Typical horror movie nonsense. All the nerve and blood vessel connections, ligaments, joints, and spinal cord connection (head and torso from different corpses). Hours and hours of delicate surgery. Also, the bodies had to be recently dead, likely embalmed, so as not to be decayed. Vascular system would have to be flushed and replaced with new blood. And what blood bank did Dr. Lang have to supply a whole body's worth of blood??? Julia, the doctor, may be the only chance to attempt such a monumental task but she certainly couldn't be specialized in all those types of surgery! But this is just a horror soap opera so we're not supposed to wonder about such details. Carry on, then. 😂
I love Nicholas Blair and how he basically tells us what the plot of the next week's episodes is going to be
Almost everything, poor Joe❤

Nicohlas is one of my favorite characters, but this story with Maggie is just evil. It might be the most soul crushing story in all of DS.
I love Barnabas
Romances on Dark Shadows sure don't last a lifetime or longterm.
