Completely forgot to mention in the video, the boat is a MacBoat 360 high sides. Hopefully have the setup sorted soon and take it on some bigger adventures
Field days most recent video has an awesome set of wheels on the back of his little tinny. Reckon they would fit on your rig too. Not sure how far away from him you are ? Would make the transportation a load easier.
Do you ever watch Chris Bamman on here or Rokkit Kit? Both great channels and do different stuff as well. Hopefully I don't upset Gido by mentioning them.
@@oldbloke204 yeah i get that. Matty is a bit loud 😂. Rokkit Rod is good value aye. Do you watch the lateral line from nu zooland ?. The boys of big angry fish from the seven mate show.
@@Alberthoward3right9up I do occasionally watch a guy who goes out in his boat fishing/camping and spearing from the shaky isles but I can't remember his name. After seeing how many I watch I'm thinking I should be getting out and doing it more instead of watching others do it. I have all the gear and a decent 4wd setup that sits in the carport for most of the year. Doh
It’s great to see you’re able to keep adding interest to the channel, Gido. The boat looks like it’s gonna treat you (and us 😊) well 😎. Great that it’s a sturdy landing craft so that we’ll see you doing more boat fishing, yet staying true to form and landing / fishing those amazing islands 😁👍👍👍
Your excitement and care as you test out your new boat are truly infectious! It's clear that every moment of this adventure reflects your passion and dedication. Watching you embrace this new chapter with such enthusiasm is a joy. And I am Floating Village Life.
Another smashing episode, Gido...!! Love the underwater shots... and I could smell that catch n cook all the way over here in central Alberta, brother...!! Take care and God bless... 👊🇨🇦🙂
Thanks Gido, great to see, awesome little boat. Hopefully we dont lose you from land based fishing thats where you shine. Happy for you and excited for the next video. Thanks
I agree with you about common fish names. Here in NZ, those fish are called golden snapper by most people. Nannygai is confusing because it is used for a completely different species on the east coast of Australia.
Nice new addition to your on the water arsenal. That looked like some work hauling it up the beach. On your graph one suggestion is make sure you have a good ground.
Mate get some wheels for the stern but dont get plastic ones, they are sh*t on sand and gravel - get the pneumatic ones. They fold up for when you are underway. You may have to weld a couple of plastic blocks to the stern to mount the wheel frames onto with self tappers ( any panel beater/plastic welder could plastic weld the blocks on if its not your thing ).. Beaching and launching will be super easy so long as you dont have too much weight on her - may have to carry some stuff up before you wheel it LOL, Those 360s are rugged beasts.
Sweet new boat. I like the poly instead of the tin. It looks a bit bigger than the blue one is that true? Awesome setup and can’t wait to see what adventures await this new boat. Thanks for the work you put into your videos. They are great quality and awesome to watch. Cheers
How’d you like that location, Gido? Grew up there. Right There. In the caravan park, then the township up the road. I can point you toward a few marks for big Nannies if you like…up to you. You seem to be pretty good at keeping locations to yourself and only locals tend to recognise the land marks.
And if you ever want to come a bit further east, I can show you some epic coast line for land based stuff and put you onto pretty consistent numbers of big Mulloway from the sand.
Great show mate I hope one day I can go fishing with u at one of my spots out of Albany that would be awsome!! I watch every episode great stuff enjoy it all wish I was there with u
Good video Gido , like your new Mac , a bit of work to be done and it will just fine 👏👏👏👌 . PS ya gotta love those treble’s 😂 get em in the boat anyway you can 😂 👍
Key lanyard, life jacket, good to see your climbing safety transfers to your boating Gido 🤙 Do you see any big sharks the area down there is pretty famous for big ones
Yes I’ve heard that since installing. I’ve also heard that it doesn’t really matter from others. I guess i could try the other side and see. Really don’t like drilling too many holes
Good morning. How are you? Indeed, we enjoyed your beautiful adventures in fishing with a reed. Your content makes me feel as if I were living that wonderful moment with you. More brilliance and success from God.
Awesome vids. Your transducer is on wrong side getting interference from your prop. Pushes water up on that side. You get cleaner water on the other side. Hope this helps
I'm not a fisherman, but I find your videos fascinating, so I subscribed. I'm surprised at the size of the fish that you're catching on that tiny, thin rod!
@@gidosfishingadventures Oh, I've been subscribed for a while. It just seemed like you were catching bigger fish with a smaller rod. Perhaps a new prototype from Oceans Legacy? New carbon tech? Shh. I won't tell.
Do you guy's have vessel assist? Its like AAA for the ocean if you have that over there. If you do or something similar I definitely would suggest you get it as well a a radio if you don't have one. It will save your life believe me. Great as always Gido🙏
Move thr transducer to the statboard sidd of thr boat, props spin clockwise and the port side is where the dirtier water is. At least 40-50cm to thr statboard side
Mad boat.. pretty sure they’re just called bight redfish in Sydney, nanagi are the smaller species… must have filleted tens of thousands of them i reckon.. good fish 💯
The high speed problems with the transducer is common. I've heard it can be fixed with proper angle of the transducer but highspeed and chop tend to always cause us some issues.

Bring on the adventures 👌👍
I use the fish fins for tooth pics after eating. But hey, we are primitive here in SoCal
Was wondering the hp on the merc too. Seemed to move the boat good and not too heavy.
You always post at the best times when im struggling with insomnia. Need more Australian fishing channels.

Impressive first trip considering you're still working it out.
The time lapse night shots were amazing.
Thanks for the video.

Good Stuff and nice boat!! Thanks for the underwater footage, Love that view underwater. So much life under the surface.
Can't wait to see new adventures with the new boat. Like your adventures weren't crazy enough already .

Awesome. My 2nd favourite way of camp cooking (love a good grill!) makes everything epic. Properly gourmet!
Awesome work with the new boat mate. So much fun out in the boat.

Gido and Rokkit kit must try to collab on an island.
The Mac 360 high side is a great little boat. Have a mate who had one and had plenty of adventures on it.

Brave Gopro footage if nothing else. Putting a $500 camera down for bottom picks is wild. Hats Off! Love the footage anyway. Raw is good.
Great to see you got a small plastic boat. Perfect. That super kayak always looked dodgy as hell to me!

Great way to christen it !
Nannygai are so good
Safer than that giant lure Gido😊
Hey mate try the transducer on the right of the motor opposite to where it is, your getting prop wash interference 👍

Boat fishing is the bomb brussy 😀
Try putting the transducer on the right side of the motor, less interference from the prop wash
Try putting the transducer on the other side of the motor
You get less turbulence from the propeller due to the direction of rotation
To infinity & Beyond
Hi mate. I think you got your transducer on the wrong side , it picks up your prop wash ….. I had the same problem before…just a thought 😊
Get a PermaTrim for the outboard. Helps heaps
