Wow! I thought I would do anything for a fish. This guy rappels down the side of a cliff , harnessed in , barefoot and catches huge fish while holding the gaff rope with his toes . Gido doesn't just take the cake , ... He IS The Cake !!!

You often ask what we would like to see. Here are some suggestions:
Do you make you burly (chum)? Show us how.
What is inside the stomachs of the fish you catch? It is always interesting to see what fish are eating.
What is going on with your car/van/truck? It looks interesting and full of gear - show us what you keep in it.
What is the deal with the sinkers you use while bait fishing? It looks like they have spines.
It would be great to see the above incorporated into some of your videos.

Back in the 80s a friend and I used to hit the rocks at Quobba (WA) a lot for balooning. People don't realize how satisfying it is to hook basically game fish from the shore.

Love ur channel. Keep posting even if you don't catch anything or you catch trash fish. Real fishermen know there are many days without catching anything. You and that new guy who imitates you are the hardest working fishermen on TH-cam. Your family is awesome as well 😊😊. Dano gives up too easily. You can catch fish if you don't have a line in the water.
i find that the heads do really well when there are toothy fish mixed among fish which do not have teeth. classic example is in the northeast of the US when you old timers would chunk the head of a bunker when bluefish are around. the bluefish chase and bite off the tails of the mackerel and bunker, and a 40 lb striper will come and eat the head.

big snapper off rocks, that takes me back, rockhoppers they called us once. fished south coast of NSW into VIC not much. homemade beach rods (brought as blanks) hoe handle butts / about 1/2 or more, because they get shoved into holes in the rocks (tip off rocks deep water holes are manmade = big fish south coast nsw) long rod heaps of line, we used Penn senator, 28lb 80cm red snapper caught at punt rock Ulidullia NSW, the molding of that fish is still in my aunties pool room.

Here on the westcoast of the US we use crab snares on the end of a rod and reel. Was wondering if you have ever tried that type of fishing down there on your side of the world? Would be cool to see you snare some crab.

Hey Gido I have noticed in your old vids you use a Shimano Stella 20000 as your heavy reel and now you are using a Satiga, what do you prefer and why did you change? Just wondering as I am purchasing a Stella 20000 soon for my heavy setup
Both are great reels mate. I wanted to upgrade some of my reels but looked into a sponsorship to help keep the cost down. Shimano were no help but Daiwa were more than happy to help out
