    Another one of those that I didn't like the look of very early on, but looked the pups pods when it was finished. You would think I'd trust your judgement by now wouldn't you! lol

    What amazing work. You have a very creative mind.What type, brand of air brush do you recommend?HAPPY NEW YEAR!

    • @stewartfurini
      @stewartfurini  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! Glad you like this one. The airbrushes I use are at the lower end of the price bracket - partly because I wanted to have one for each colour that I use, but also because I'm not great at cleaning them and didn't want to ruin an expensive one! The ones I use mostly are these: www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sealey-Air-Brush-Kit-12pc-Suction-Feed-AB935-Model-Mini/292367916579 I use them with spirit stains. I do have a couple of non-branded gravity fed airbrushes if I ever use any acrylic paint but I seldom use them - they need cleaning out immediately after use. Hope this helps!

    I enjoy your colouring videos very much and they have given me many inspirations. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be a Canadian distributor for Chestnut products. If somebody connected with this supply chain is listening, please consider offering a supply to Turner's in North America.

      Thanks, Randy - a shame you can't get these colours in Canada yet. They are great to use. I think that Chestnut Products were working on getting them into Canada so fingers crossed!

    Beautiful as always, Stewart. I have to learn some of your methods! Would you mind taking the time to say what you are applying each time. Sometimes, especially when you're using your airbrush, you don't mention what is being sprayed. I would really like to know what each coat contains! Thanks for all the information!
    Take care and Happy New Year,
    .....Gord

    • @stewartfurini
      @stewartfurini  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for commenting, Gord. I'll endeavour to make sure I name all coats/applications! In this video, the spray on coats were acrylic sanding sealer from Chestnut Products and then car lacquer from a company called Hycote. Cheers - and Happy New Year to you too!

    Hi there! Could you list the paints/stains you used for this video?

    • @stewartfurini
      @stewartfurini  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Rob McCarthy Hi. I used ordinary black acrylic paint and a gold metallic acrylic paint. The stains are from Martin saban-smith and are called intrinsic colours. I used flame, burnt Orange and ruby. It was then sealed with Chestnut Products acrylic sanding sealer and acrylic gloss lacquer. Cheers
