It almost destroyed their relationship!! No matter what happens, things should not escalate to such heights! What would you do in his place considering IF YOU ARE NOT A DOG LOVER!! Huh? He and his wife supported her choice for 6 years. BOTH THE WIFE AND HUSBAND ARE EQUALLY GUILTY !! They both never understood the dog's actual problem. Just like the wife said, they thought it was BEHAVIORAL problem. To put up with all the damage and the expenses is a huge deal! And Y'all get pissed because he is not supporting her! All those expenses!! What about them!! Did the wife pay them all by herself! Pretty sure not!! HE SUPPORTED HER by paying them because he loved his wife. That's why, even after so much damage he still did whatever he could for 6yrs to support the poor loved creature his wife liked. Now, I am considering this as an assumption that he is not a dog lover and his wife loves the dog. If that's the case, then his response is logical!! IF he says he done, does that mean he is gonna give up on his wife or family? I didn't see the wife being pissed or angry at her husband. She said its hard for Greg, but never that he is horrible!! Maybe he just didn't like his wife's choice. Also is no one gonna talk about the shock collars!! Isn't that the wife's fault!!! In a way everyone is involved and equally guilty!! So don't just blame the guy!! Also @Jessica Franco you have absolutely no respect for RELATIONSHIPS! This isn't something they should divorce for!! Cmon!! Come out of your picture perfect bubble of life and face the reality!! No one is gonna be an ideal person!! SO GROW UP!

Chelcea Quigley in a marriage, you do not get a dog “immediately”. You discuss with your partner and getting him/her on board first. You don’t get to make one sided decision. If you want that, be a single. Once he/she is on-board, it becomes shared responsibility.

I wonder how all these people would respond if he bought a Ferrari without consulting the wife and expected her to help him pay for it because “MaRriAgE iS a ParTneRshiP”.

Neena a pet dog costs $4000 per year, when considering vet bills, food, etc. Over 10-15 years, that would be $40 000-$60 000. Just for caring for the dog. Let alone the $20 000+ in damages to the household over those 10-15 years. That’s nearly $100k for one dog. And still we aren’t including the time that’s required for walking, feeding, bathing, etc. Time is money, as they say.
A ferrari can range from 200k-600k, so saying a name brand car that is only double the cost of that dog if you know what car you’re buying, isn‘t that insane. Either way, the point of the comment wasn’t about the specific car brand I listed, it was about the fact that:
I wonder how all these people would respond if he bought "a decently expensive, at least $100k car" without consulting the wife, and expected her to help him pay for it because "MaRriAgE iS a ParTneRshiP".
Of course you ignore the point because you can’t justify it. There’s no way to justify dumping $100k and 10-15 years of commitment on your S/O without coming to an agreement on it.

If you leave a kid, teenager for example in the house alone and they throw a party without your knowledge and they let their friends break stuff, that's behavioural.

Not just talking about dog related but everything... regardless of if he's involved or not, something bad happens=not his problem, ever but when something good happens=he's on board, probably acts like he's always the reason for something good lol

The more I watch this show, the more it makes me want to secretly call Victoria on a few people I know.
One family had cycled through 5 dogs in the time I knew them (owned 3, 2 passed away, got a new dog, last of the original 3 passed, got a 2nd dog in the home) and every single one of these dogs displayed some bad behavior I see on this show.
And this show is making it more and more blatantly obvious to me that it all boils down to the fact they don't know how to take care of their dogs, so they blame it on the dogs instead of taking the initiative to learn what they are doing wrong.
They had one dog like this one that they spent THOUSANDS of dollars to have someone else to teach him to not be aggressive towards other dogs. Never made the effort to continue the training at home, just made someone else do it.
These dogs deserve owners who will take responsibility.

I’ve always given my dogs something to do when I’m out! My rescue dog would bark the entire time I was gone and I lived in a townhouse and now an apartment, you can’t disturb the neighbours for hours.
I leave small treats scattered around the house or a bone to keep them busy. Or there’s those Kong toys that you put treats in or peanut butter in... it keeps them busy and once their done they go to sleep.
I don’t get why people don’t think that their pets get bored when we’re gone too.... I never thought of doing these techniques though...

IMO, he seemed like he was just frustrated with the damage, $15,000.00 is alot of damage for one pet to cause..
My chigi has seperation anxiety and I have to either take him everywhere with me or leave him with my mom. Because when he's alone he gets so worked up that he will hyperventilate until he throws up or falls down on his stomach and can't breath.. Luckily, my dog is small enough that I can do that.. I couldn't imagine the fear this couple experienced every time they went to work, out shopping or anywhere, that they might come home to not only a destroyed home but a severely injured or even dead pet.. And the vet Bill's? Those aren't cheap, especially if a dog has slivers in his stomach or bowel, or has ingested poison/toxic materials, furniture cushions, etc. Also, the husband said he didn't want to even think of getting rid of Scooby.. But for the dog's own safety (if he couldn't be helped by training) the only option is rehoming with someone who can devote their time to Scooby. It's not ok for any animal (no matter how beloved) to live in stress like that. Thank goodness they found a method that helped.

I hate how the husband acts like his wife is alone in everything. It makes me feel as bad for her as I do the dog. They are supposed to be a team and work together the husband is like "Hey I just live here. This is all her problem not mine". It makes me feel like maybe the wife and dog would be better off without him.

That poor dog has so many issues that he is destroying the house but the guy is bored for a half hour while they try to fix the situation. Victoria to the rescue.

The husband keeps on insisting that's his wife's dog but that was their house being destroyed. Couples need to be in agreement before purchasing/adopting/fostering/bringing in a stray. The tension they hold, the dog feels as well.

🤣 my thoughts exactly hahaha, 30mins of walking round the house vs. owning one anxious dog that causes thousands of dollars of damage to the house... seems like more than a fair trade off!

She is the "Dog Mama" like Jackson Galaxy is the "Cat Daddy" amazing! She is wonderful, and I have learned so much to help my animals from watching them both, as well as learned things to help my foster doggos, get to the next level and go to their furever homes with alot better behaviors, and training prep.
