All well and good, but he inherited the dog and the problem manifested itself. Huge kudos to Arion for getting help. This was wonderful to watch. They have had time to learn one another, which also needs taking into account if a ‘new to you dog’ exhibits these behaviours. Bear all Caesar says in mind and apply the same strategies.
This guy has such fantastic energy, and you can tell he is full of love - Just seems like a lovely person. Lucky dog / lucky man - glad they have each other!
Give some props and praise to Cesar too! Cesar is Amazing at what he does and deserves just as much if not more praise and props than the owners of the dogs! 😤
This is what happens when I start watching Cesar...This is my 5th video and I have written notes the entire time!!! His application, and innate wisdom is so simple that it seems complex and most often applies to humans as parents ,or dog owners, My children are grown and I have NO DOG and still......
Arion has great energy. He just needed to have direction to help Roxy. What a great new "dad" for a great dog! He is honoring his godmother's memory by reaching out for help to give Roxy the best Golden Years.
Wonderful young man! The dog will be much happier having a pack leader instead of someone who feels sorry for her and encourages unstable behaviour. Well done young man..
What a great smile!! And he obviously truly wants the best for Roxie in her golden years. He seems like a lovely young man. Great job Arion! Your Godmother is looking down with pride at you both.
I'm just so proud of Roxie!! It's tough to loose a loved one and she is even more confused by it than a human would be. What a good girl though and she's lucky to have her God brother as her new owner. You can tell he loves her so much
I ❤️ this one❣️ How sad for both of them that they lost a loved one….🥺 Then I almost lost it 😢😢 when he spoke about Roxy only having a few years left 😢😢
I also took on an older dog from a woman who passed away. I didn't know her but her children didn't want him. I felt and feel so sorry for him (he's also nearly blind) that I have gone totally soft on him. Luckily he's only very small but he kinda has started running my life now. I have learned a lot from this video. 💚
I hope it worked out well for both of them. The young man seemed to quickly understand the energy concept. I have been told that this is often normal behaviour of a dog that suddenly finds himself with a new owner. They are so afraid that this new human being will leave them too, so they follow them around wherever they go. And all it took to fix it, was to give the dog a couple of new rules to follow, with a calm and assertive energy.
I agree with all the comments saying that arion is a good guy. He is, he has a good energy and kind person. Wishing you and roxy will have a very happy life in many many many years to come🤗😘. God bless both of you and yes you made your godmother proud indeed😊
This was beautiful. Arion is honoring his godmother in the best possible way and Roxy and he will support each other through the sadness. Such a wonderful young man.
Awwwwww, WAY TO GO OWNER & ROXY! When I lost my Mom, my energy was obviously one of great grief, and that grief was tangible for my dogs. I too had to realize that they were reacting to my true energy. I think a lot of times humans in society are taught to hide and straight up lie about how we TRULY feel. You still honor your loved one, you can even cry, but you let your fur babies KNOW that you aren't giving up on Life. Mr. Milan, YOU ARE AWESOME! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I can totally relate to this guy’s story and issues with Roxie. I rescued a male Miniature Schnauzer whose owner had passed away from cancer 11 months before I got him. He immediately bonded with me and I with him as I had lost my little schnauzer to cancer a month before I adopted him. He was well trained by his previous owner, and fit right in with our family but he was definitely attached to me. He never had severe separation issues but he did have them and he definitely wanted to be with me more than anyone else in our family. I am sure I was more like this young man in my approach with Bentley and I can see what I should have been doing. I only got to have him for 6 years before he got a bladder tumor and had to be put down. I was so saddened by my loss.
Nothing more loyal than a GSD. These dogs live for their pack. We have the same problem with our GSD Mix, but have been working on it so much. Their will to obey /work is similar to their strong bond / attachment to their ppl, so it can help to 'overwrite' the problematic behaviour in the situations needed....the rest is training.....training....training...and of course the energy stuff, that probably applies to all dogs! Just realized all this, thanks to Cesar and Arian...and Roxy...Thank you! Great souls all of them ♥️

My husband died last year. I had been watching your shows for years, helping me be a better leader for our dog. He was seriously disabled from before we even adopted the dog, who is also gone. Now I'm thinking about and planning for my next dog, recognizing I need a dog with low energy like mine, and I need to be prepared to have the right energy. I'm reviewing and watching because someday soon I'll be the pack leader in a house with just me and the dog. Thank you for still having the show that really is such a wonderful teacher!
Thank you so much for this Cesar! I have this exact situation. I recently started fostering an abused mother pit mix. I don't know if you will ever see this message but you are in my heart. Ps, Cesar I love you and your sharing with us what you have mastered. Thank you. I'm excited to learn from you.
This guy GOT IT. He’ll do well. And, isn’t this truly kindness for the old dog, compared to affection no matter what? ~~ I so appreciate what Cesar is teaching.
What a great guy he is, and Roxy is lucky to be adopted by him. One of the many things I’m getting from this vid is that teaching “sit and stay” is an important prerequisite to having them not incessantly follow a person. It all makes sense - give the dog a command to “not follow”, and the dog then knows what to do (or not do). Excellent vid.
This is our dog newly adopted 10/7/23. Our first ever adoption. She hates the crate plus has separation anxiety. She's already broken out of the crate. So, I'll practice this method. And keep practicing 😊
The dog is in good hands. This owner has such positive energy his smiles are contagious. He only needs Cesar to point out where the problem is.

What a lovely video on so many levels. Caesar knows exactly what is needed and this young man has Roxy's interests completely in his vision and executes everything he is taught to do. What a loving energy he has. He took on his godmother's dog and Roxy is lucky to have him. I hope her golden years are now ones she can enjoy in peace. Well done all of you :)
My dear gorgeous young man, I am trying to stop my leaking eyes,😢. I know exactly your pain, that is why I am watching this video, thank you for reaching out to Cesar so we can learn. You had pain two fold, I hope time has been good for you to heal from the loss of your Godmother and you and your furpet are doing ok. I don't know if you will ever see this message but you are in my heart. Ps, Cesar I love you and your sharing with us what you have mastered. Thank you. I'm excited to learn from you.
Wow how many times can I cry in 2 minutes 😂 great vibe from everyone involved here great owner sweet dog Cesar always a boss
This guy GOT IT. He’ll do well. And, isn’t this truly kindness for the old dog, compared to affection no matter what? ~~ I so appreciate what Cesar is teaching.
What a lovely and genuine dog owner. Willing to learn immediately, he is so positive, full of love and good energy. Very impressive young man!
Cesar is so amazing, I learn so much watching his videos🐶👍🏻
So many families just bail on existing dogs, especially senior dogs, so I appreciate this guy so much
What an amazing young man I know your God mom is so proud of both of y’all!!
This is our dog newly adopted 10/7/23. Our first ever adoption. She hates the crate plus has separation anxiety. She's already broken out of the crate. So, I'll practice this method. And keep practicing 😊
This was SO GOOD!! Wow. What a fast change, so Awesome for Roxy!!
