Hey techies! Here's my review of the best earbuds with noise cancelling on the market (in my opinion). I've had these for over a year now and use them almost daily. There's quite a bit of reviews on the web of these ear phones, but I wanted to give my own opinion, especially with me owning them for quite some time now. I use these earbuds for everything besides working out and if I'm walking on the street, just because of safety reasons. The noise cancelling is amazing and a most have for any person in my opinion.

Good review. Good product. One downside I've noticed is when the ambient sound is very loud (rock band), the phones sort of overload and produce an almighty rasp causing the listener to rip them out. It really is unbearably loud.

bought my first pair in 2015ish. after pretty much everyday use, they only broke last week even with me not always being the gentlest with them. bought a second pair last week!

you sold me when you said this is the mic you used. the mic on my over ear qc20 is too quite to work well.

Hey. Do all cheaper ear buds pick up little pings from a prof mic recording? I'm doing narration and the sound is fine unless I listen with my cheap $20 ear buds. I wanted to check your recording here and I hear all those little pings (metal ping sound) in your recording too. Please, any info would be helpful. TY!
I owned a pair of these headphones back in 2019. The sound quality was outstanding. Of course, any pair of headphones made from Bose always delivered excellent results. I definitely want to get another pair.
Is there anything like this but with USB-C? so you don't have to have the battery?

Question. Is the battery heavy at all, or is a noticeable weight? Like it does look kinda obnoxious aswell, but I doubt that fitting it in the pocket would be that big of deal.
I have these but when I put them to charge there’s a solid red light and they don’t charge. Can’t find an answer for this other than “temperature range issue”. What did that mean!!
also one thing you missed is, turning on the quiet feature enhances the sound quality a hot also and you wouldn't wanna use them without that on.

Just found a pair of these while I was walking past a bus stop. My jaw dropped when you said they were $300+ (Idk what they are now) $free.99 for me tho. Work on my ps4 and keeps the distractions to a minimum. Great review just one thing missing imo...an explanation on how the noise canceling works and how to turn that function on or off. Does it also use the mic to play voices from outside of the earbuds when the sound cancellation is off like others on the market

This or the new qc30? Qc20s are 50 bucks cheaper and i heard NC is better than QC30. But I go to gym and I think QC20's NC control Unit would be annoying as hell. Any suggestions?

yes it would but the unplugged aux jack would pick up small electric signals and you would hear them through the earbuds.
Wait, you unplug them yet expect it to stop sound?

@@my-king I have a pair, and yes it works without being plugged in, as the noise cancelling function has its own battery. No music needs to be playing and no phone plugged in to turn on the noise cancelling

people should be aware that a lot of people, including myself, are having problems with buzzing from the left earbud when the QC20i is plugged into an iMac or when recharging. This is a major flaw in the Quiet Comfort 20i.
PUT YOUR MAC TO CHARGE AN THE BUSSING WILL REMOVED. I HAD THAT PROBLEM WHEN MAC CHARGER IS OUT

I got these recently because I had to replace my old wired soundsports that had been discontinued and no other wired earbud out there is compatible with the soundsport ear tips that just kind of rest in your ear. I don’t get how everyone likes the ear tips that literally drill into your ear canals, and I don’t get the hype for wireless. Obviously wired will sound better no matter what. Anyways, these were definitely a good replacement / upgrade to the soundsport! Super strong bass and I can hear parts of music I’m not able to hear on my soundsport. The sound leakage is very minimal, so I can listen louder. That brick thing definitely needs to be on though, otherwise it won’t sound good.

I have the white one, I've had it for probably 3 or 4 years now and it still works damn fine
I'm just asking if it's still the king of it's category or if there is something that can beat it?
I've veen looking into purchasing these and they seen to still be on the top and although there are some competitors, theres nothing that seems to be able to compare to the comfort and functionality.

Why did they discontinue these!!! I had a pair for 6 years and my dog ate them… I used these at nascar races with my scanner, flights and on ships man how can I get a set of these or something similar!
There is a flaw with that product, and that is the material of the rubber they used. It feels great to the touch, yes. But, it is very vulnerable in hot areas like leaving it in the car that's under the sun or in any place that's just hot. To make the rubber last long, the ideal temperature would temperatures that are no more than 24°C (75.2°F).
Do the apple version work with Samsung?

I'm confused because I have the same exact ones as you do, blue and black for iphone, but my box says QC20 instead of CQ20i. The CQ20i on google are black and gray and says CQ20i on the box.

is it uncomfortable to be carrying that battery ??? like trying to put your phone in the pocket and also that battery ?? thats my only concern ,
yeah, the sound quality is good but the battery is annoying in your pocket, and while the batteries are rechargeable they start to click loudly after about 18-24 months which means they need to be replaced.

There is a switch on the Bose battery dongle that activates the noise cancellation. You don't need to be playing music or even have the headphones connected to a device. Just turn it on and enjoy the noise cancellation. (I actually own a pair)

yes if you decide to buy definitely take note if you are buying Apple or Android model if you buy the wrong one the volume control wont work

Why wouldn't you be able to use the regular QC20 with a Macbook Pro? You can use them with an iOS device. It's just that some buttons with special functions won't work in the iOS device, or in this case, the Macbook Pro. But you shouldn't have an issue listening with them.

Disintegrating Earbuds, I cannot post any pics here. But I have a pair. In 4 years they were coming apart after using about 160 hours a year. long haul international flights. Not used at home or outdoors or anything like that. Oh yes they are great at noise cancellation but I don't think I should replace something that I should last much longer. Just go to Amazon and look up the reviews there.
