Hey Khaldor, just wanted to say that I really appreciate you and let you know that you really are a superior HOTS commentator! Keep up the good work and thank you.
Raiders were really listening to the broadcast going, "How can we please Khaldor and become fan favorites?" Amazing back-and-forth match. Miss these kinds of matches.
Congratulations to the Winners! Thank you for these, Khaldor, and for helping so much to keep HotS alive! I've thought about this kind of tournament a lot. I think the Team Theme based Bounties should be 4/5. Otherwise, the easiest one to go for is Overwatch, surprisingly, which is boring af. (D. va, Mei/Zarya, Ana/Lucio, Tracer/Genji/Junkrat/Hanzo) - but if for like a Protoss only team, you got a very strict comp. Artanis, Alarak, Probius, Fenix, Tass, Zeratul, and what, Raynor? - Maybe if it's SC, Terrans are Neutral and Zerg/Protoss Teams can both use Morales or Tychus, etc. (It would be up to the organizers though if Stukov counted or not) - then for Warcraft, well there's at least more options.. but not any really great comps. But if it's 4/5 then I think teams would be a LOT more willing to try. Could even be stricter to an extent with 4/5, for instance having a WC Dragon Bounty, w/ Brightwing, Deathwing, Alex, and Chromie. Warchiefs Bounty worth more than the standard Horde/Ally bounty with Thrall, Sylv, Garrosh, and E.T.C., (Maybe allowing Malf and Varian in that category as well? Same thing as with Stukov) and the 5th place is just open to allow for the comps to work and allowing for some real creativity instead of strict 5/5 specific comps. As for Diablo, the only comp I can really even think up is All Angels. Tyrael, Imperius, Auriel, Malth.. maybe Angels/Demons comp, allowing the Angels and Dia, Meph, and Azmo to comprise 4. Just some thoughts I've had about this style of tournament for a long time.
@@Metallerden Adjusted, as I had heard it. And regardless, I feel as if my thoughts are still worth sharing. Like I said, I've thought about this style of tournament for a long time!
What a fantastic series! The last game was epic😁 It seems that team ASH just isn't able to play many heroes as they always suffer in the last matches...
Gaflo's cockiness picking tracer into varian stukov greymane, against Bishepss' picking march into sgt hammer with no anduin... who wins? Seems like they're both trying to give the game to the other
One question on the upcoming change on the bounty system (fixed moneypool) - if a team does more than one bounty, do they get a bigger share of the pool, or does a team have to do just one bounty and they are in for the count?
i dont quite understand the beginning statement Winners bracker has Map Choice and First pick Thats for Raiders Now he doesn't like when people say the ones in the winners bracker has 1-0 lead because first pick first choice? Then, who has to play a lot less games than your opponent? Raiders or Ash? I guess Raiders play less games than Ash because Ash needs to fight back to the top + the final So team Ash is tired from playing extra game + raiders get to prepare their next games vs Ash + get to analyze ASH's games while they play, how to counter etc So raiders get - First pick - map pick - rest time - analytical time - game prep time Ash gets thrown into the next 7 games from the losers bracket Did i get that right?
Hey, Nano from the raiders, in my personal experience getting games before the grand final is very very very good, it’s exceptionally good warm up and you are fresh after a short break. That being said, it can backfire easily if instead of 5 or 6 games you played 10+. Also I personally did watch their drafts and that’s it, you can’t really prepare anything based on a small sample of games from the semis and finals. You know more about their team from the last 6 qualifiers instead of their last 2 games. The only advantage imo is the first pick and map pick
In a classical double elimination bracket the team from the winner bracket usually gets a full elimination extra because they weren't eliminated. The Raiders won against team Ash before and if they fought evenly now and Team Ash won, then Ash wins the whole tournament because they won the second face-off instead of the first one; that's not fair either. That said I'm a fan of the classical variation which would be as follows: They get a fair bo7 without any advantage (except resting time/warmup games which imo mostly cancel each other out) but if the team from the losing bracket wins, then there's a day rest and after that one more bo7 which is without advantage again and decides the final winner if that didn't happen before.
@@andy02q what's bo7? Also, nano commented that it's highly beneficial of having games, 4-6, before competing because they give great warm up and seeing what works and what doesn't. Has momentum too psychologically coming from a win.
And they get all those benefits because they didn't get eliminated in the first place. Thats not a bonus, thats a result. Imho a team should get at least one tangible reward. I mean, the other team was already eliminated and only got here by 2nd chance.
Omg the entire series were just epic, but the last map tops it all. What a great final.

Wow! I never thought the day would come when "Quira" would win a match. Ty Khaldor as always for bring this series
Danke!
Vielen Dank!
Thank you for the series. Perfect commentary.
it's hard to put into words how happy the last draft made me
What a final ! Great tournament! incredible coverage as well! thanks for all the great videos
My two favorite heroes featured in the final match! Great conclusion to a wonderful tournament.

The whole chain of events after this in the match is too good

Theme-based bounties will be removed, as was announced earlier.

Epic Grand Finals starting on my favorite map with my favorite hero in the preview!? Yes, please and thank you!
Great competition, ty Khaldor!

Thanks for the support!
Congratulations to the winning team. Also fantastic performance for the losing one, no shame, big plays on both sides.
Amazing final keep up the great work Khaldor❤
Heck of a final match
this tournament format with heroes only playable once in a series is great, makes for more entertaining games with odd hero combos

HOTS doesn't get any better than this. Epic!
59:39 Fried wing should be a thing. Especially when the fly gets taken down by Diablo, KT or Deathwing 😂
What an awesome series!😊
What a final
I'm going out for 2 hours and I will watch this when I return but here are my hopes:
I pray to god Team ASH doesn't end up pulling another "Team ASH"
I root for the Vinland Raiders
That second game, Team ASH just took all the displacement they could. They were deciding where the Raiders were positioned more than they were.🤣
GG!

I've been gone for a while. What happened to the bratwurst boys?
They were defeated in the group stage
Putin lost, I'm satisfied.
Kinda sad the last match was a clownfiesta pickline..
Why do idiots pick Chen at crucial matches 😂 they always get destroyed
