I bought a 96 about 11 years ago that was stored it's entire life. It only had 3000 km on it. It was like new, by far my favorite bike I've owned. I put a Yoshimura exhaust on it and the sound was so good. Mine was an original Repsol and the plastics were mint I was only missing the rear grab handle. You can see a video on my channel of it when I was selling it. Kept it for 3 more years after the video before I sold it and the guy who bought it ran the crap out of it lol.
I just bought a 97 and can’t wait to get it running it’ll be my first bike
I also just bought and am restoring a 1996 CBR 600F3 with the same fairing kit. An amazing and exciting bike! Great work on this one

DHgate but just remember it takes months to arrive so if you order now you won't get them for 4 or 5 months

Maybe in the future depending on my interest level in the project. I like to find rare bikes close to death and give them a second life. I'm looking for a 900RR rite now.

That whistle is from the cam chain,.you can still hear it when its not running just by revving the engine..Daytona triumph 675r makes that same noise .
I bought a 1999 CBR600 . I think it is an F4 . Yes they was a little fast bikes .

You realize that this is the motorcycle that won all of the 90s and early 2000s 600s AMA championships in the hands of Miguel Duhamel? This was the legendary F3 the entire golden era of 600s revolved around this being the most winning motorcycle in history..... you clearly have no idea what you're talking about please sit down before you hurt yourself.
@stevep9739 I can't believe you just compared a de-tuned touring motorcycle that's only capable of 11,000 RPMs before Redline to a AMA performance bike with a 15,000 RPM rev limiter.... I mean we're talking about 82 horsepower compared to just shy of 100 horsepower and 4000 RPMs more to offer you on the Rev band. you obviously do not know motorcycles at all

DHGate and none of these aftermarket kits fit perfect you have to do some work and customization to make them fit hence why they only cost like three or four hundred dollars instead of a few thousand dollars. Yes it is just a tank cover
