In 1995, three members of the Kagezi family were lured into the Democratic Republic of Congo by Allied Democratic Forces rebels, under the pretext of lucrative jobs. Hussein Kagezi, his wife, and daughter were captured, with Kagezi later killed and the daughter never found. Over 20 years later, his wife Kauthara Namaganda has reunited with her two surviving children and shares their harrowing story.
