- How does this Abus NutFix work? There’s an internal nut inside the NutFix cover and the cover is locked when the bike is in the vertical position, this will give the thefts some challenging time from stealing your seat and seatpost when you park your bike LOCKED on the streets.
NutFix cover is locked and keeps spinning spinning and spinning when the bike is in the vertical position.
To unlock the seat clamp, the bike has to be in horizontal position, lay down the bike and pull the NutFix cover to access the internal nut.

I have issues to open it back event when bike is on horizontal position
One unfortunate drawback I see with this product is that you can’t use a torque wrench. Not a big deal for metal posts, but carbon posts can crack if you overtighten them.
