    I have been using the FFP for 3 years now, I actually was following Michael Hyatt blog for years before that, and read his books “moving forward “ and “ you best year ever” which are great books by the way ( hence the related quotes). I agree with you that so much space can be wasted ( like the note pages) but being on Facebook group associated with this planner It is surprising and inspiring how other users use these spaces ( like the weekly some use it for meal planning). Being a person who enjoys planning as well,I totally agree with you that planning should not be mistaken with being productive. Thanks for recommending the passion planner will check it out…

    Great review. I use the Franklin planners. I have used them for 30 years. I love them and they are dated which i like. The dated refill is like $50 for a year. And I have a real nice leather binder. I just add much of the stuff from this planner into mine. Glad that I found your channel!

      Thanks Bill! Welcome and thanks for subscribing! I’ll check out the Franklin planner.

      Yes! I LOVE Franklin Planners - do the Full Focus Planner pages fit in a Classic binder?!? I have the classic-sized hole punch.

      @@averagegirldoescoolthings Something I love about the Franklin system is I have the Classic size so I can fit ANY page in there that is a half letter. I can even print items from my computer and hole-punch them with the classic hole punch sold by Franklin. I can also have it as thick or thin as I like. I have the different areas of my life in one binder and just replace the inside as needed and can change everything up several times a year if needed, too.

    1. Your voice is so soothing!
    2. I bought the Full Focus planner and couldn’t get into it. Thanks for this video!

    Good review and it highlighted what I was seeing from a non-user perspective... Expensive (!), repetition of info (I have a hard enough time writing it once!), and a little too 'business-y'. Thanks for mentioning the Passion Planner... that's a new one for me so will seek out your video on that now. 😉

      If you found Focus too businessy you might like Passion Planner a lot more. It’s better for my multi-passionate brain! Enjoy!

    I appreciate this review. I have been on the hunt for the planner that fits all my needs as well, and this does not sound like the one for me either. ❤

    Really valid pros/ cons. Now that some time has passed are you regretting the purchase? I am in between this one and a different one

    • @averagegirldoescoolthings
      @averagegirldoescoolthings  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I wouldn’t say I regretted it, but I definitely won’t get it again. Just finished the Passion Planner daily (also 3 months) and enjoyed it as well. But missed FFP weekly debriefs. Will be doing a video on PP soon!

      Lately I've been using Passion Planner daily. Will be posting a review of that soon!

    I bought the planner's annual subscription, but before I even began using this planner, I felt an overwhelming sense of buyer's remorse. So, I'll continue to use this planner as it's paid for, but I will consider trying out other productive planners. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

    • @averagegirldoescoolthings

      I know that feeling. It’s like, “finish your plate” - you bought it so now you have to use it! I hope you get something out of it 💙 I’ll be switching back to Passion Planner original, it’s still my favorite.

    • @markevans2457
      @markevans2457 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@averagegirldoescoolthings it certainly felt like that. I’ll look into the Passion Planner, I’ll be honest I’ve never heard of it before. I’m onto it 🙂

    Just for context - I have been using this planner for four years. It works for me but of course it doesn’t work for everyone.
    There is a planner for everyone’s needs and clearly this one does not meet your needs. I understand and appreciate your perspective on the product.
    However, i don’t understand the value of critiquing Micheal Hyatt as a person. It is one thing to critique the product - it is another to question the motivations of a fellow human. I do not know him from the man in the moon, however I’m not sure why he should be criticized personally for including quotes from his books along with those of other humans.
    I am disappointed your review took a turn from functional to personal.

      Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I didn't approach this as a personal criticism, sorry you felt it was that way. Just sharing my experience.

    I guess what I'm saying is you're probably not a serious professional. It is very useful for really busy people and people who have big jobs.

    There seems to be a whole subculture of people who just get off on planning. Not to any end. Just planning for plannings' sake. Seems a bit sad to me. Personally, I plan to achieve my goals. And I think it is really weird to have a passion for planning in and of itself.

    • @averagegirldoescoolthings
      @averagegirldoescoolthings  ปีที่แล้ว

      There is definitely a subculture of planning! I’ve seen some where people do them like really beautiful journals. I think for the people who enjoy planning for its own sake, it’s more of a creative expression. To each their own!
