I have used this planner for almost 3 years. I have the coiled version which I loved, I thought I only liked bound planners. I know longer used the front part of the planner. I mainly use the weekly planning, and the daily pages. I love the notes page because I literally use this planner for everything including meal planning, grocery list, daily thoughts, and anything I need to write down. It is literally my brain on paper. I have the yearly subscription, so I got all 4 planners for the year.
The first 6 months I couldn’t find a consistent way to use the notes pages so i felt like i was wasting the book. But when i stop trying to find a consistent way to use it and just write whatever i need when i need to it worked better. Regarding the weekly pages. So the design is a bit flawed when you actually finish one planner and then go to the next. During the first week of a new planner i have to carry 2 planners because the book ends with weekly planning but the new book does not start with a weekly preview. The company tried to make it better by adding a weekly big 3 at the beginning of the new planner but it still is not enough
I love the full focus planner and those workday startup and shutdown rituals were game changers for me. I read Free to Focus (hyatts book) and he talks about the workday startup as being how you set your day/office/home for success - what you need to be most productive. I’m a sahm with a side hustle so really my workday startup is getting my kitchen and family room reset after my family is at work/school so that I can think clearly since I mostly work downstairs. It’s helped me keep my house tidier too. I’m not as good at the workday shutdown but the startup is my favorite part of the day because it makes me feel better and leads to productivity in my home. Anyway I did notice that some of their planners are on white paper (I think the bold collection), so it’s always good to check the item description to see which you’re getting. And yes, the horizontal weekly goes is for preplanning the following week. On the page before the instructions say you can use the list for personal/professional priorities or the next page with the horizontal overview. I’m also using one from about a year ago that I started in and stopped and now I’m back. Anyway gonna see if you’re still using it, it’s been great for me!
I like the off white paper. I have a brain/eye condition where bright lights and paper irritates my eyes. Nice to know that there is a planner without bright white paper. I usually buy beige and make my own planner
Let's hope you get sponsored after this 😁I love the idea of a "Workday Startup/ Shutdown Ritual". I also don't love when Saturday and Sunday are squished together. I mean, they are whole days too. Loool at the debate about the pronunciation of the Ollie clip. Thanks for the detailed review, Shay 🙂

Yayyyy!!! You’re back to paper planners!! I’m so excited!!
I appreciate you sharing how you use the FFP. It's good to get different viewpoints on how people cater the system to their needs.

Would love to see a video of how the planner has worked for you this far.
I WAS JUST THINKING ABOUT YOU AND WHAT YOU SAY ABOUT BUDGETING. YOU ALWAYS HAVE GOOD THINGS TO SAY TO GET YOUR MONEY IN ORDER.

I'm glad it works for you. It looks so dingy and dirty to me. Wish we could choose.
@@michelewood1925 are there smudges or streaks? I guess i do not get the dingy part
Paper love 💗💓 there is something that brings us back to paper. Look forward to the videos using this planner or another one if you change your mind.

Will you be using both paper and digital?
I’ll be using digital platforms like Google Calendar for time management as I’ve always done but I’m not using my iPad planner currently
That’s a pretty cool planner!
I’m digging this one. Thanks for the review.
Nice video nice review ❤
