    I am so delighted that the “ideal week” page starts at 5am! I am always up by 5- and finding a planner that starts earlier then 6am has not been easy for me.

      Unfortunately because of the nature of my job I would need it to be a full 24 hours. Sometimes I might still be working at 5:00 a.m. other times I may have already woken up and be on my way to work. It would be easier for me to have a full 24-hour schedule and then I can pencil in when I think I will get to sleep.

    I'm currently using this planner and love it. If you use it consistently, it's really effective. I still love other planners (Erin Condren, Day Designer, Franklin Planner) and I run a digital system in Evernote), but the Full Focus Planner really keeps me FOCUSED on my goals and my daily and weekly big three. There's a great Facebook community too, with lots of ideas and support. You did a great review, Amanda!

    I love this planner! I have used it for probably a year and a half now. I started with the bound book (as I thought I was a bound planner girl) but when the rings came out I tried it and I love it. I love that you can fold the book back. I am a daily planner girl, but the reason I love this planner so much is that it teaches you to plan your day to achieve your yearly goals, and I love the weekly planning (other planners, like the EC don't have that in their daily planner). I don't plan everyday so I do have pages that are blank and also I have not come up with a consistent use of the notes page but it is good to have when you need to write notes. I also have the Bold line which has a little color.

    I absolutely recommend these planners - I have tried dozens and this is by far the best! Great quality - they have pretty versions too (Michael Hyatt’s daughter Meghan designed) - I buy the teal cover version. It’s the same content but has more feminine end papers and ink colors in addition to the fun cover colors. I ran several business and stayed focused on healthy lifestyle changes by being accountable to this planner.

      I do agree that planner people who love EC type of 80# paper with "tooth" might not love their paper. But really for a bound book I am not sure they could do thicker paper and fit it in the same sized book. But going up just a little bit would be nice;)

    I read Free to Focus by Michael Hyatt at the beginning of 2021 and have essentially been trying to force all those components into my current planners. I love just about every piece of this method. I was deterred at first because of the cost of buying a planner each quarter and I only like certain cream papers. But realistically, this planner has everything I need. I do wish notes pages were at the end instead of 2 pages per day but I had that with my Franklin planner last year and I did use it for journaling and tracking and j do miss that. I thought I would want a coil but you made a good point that it’s nice having that 2 page spread visible so you aren’t flipping the book over constantly. Thanks for sharing as always!!

    I have been so eager to see your review of this planner!
    The Bold line does have white paper, I believe, rather than cream. I also think they have a smaller executive style now.
    I've used this system in the past and really did like many aspects of it. I've hopped around since, and am now torn between going back to this or trying the Monk Manual for 3Q. I know personally, I need a daily with 30 minute time increments. I also really like the portability of this style compared to some of the larger sized coiled planners that I've more recently tried.
    Thank you for the review! (And, thanks to the generous follower who gifted it!).

      @AmandasFavorites  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Oh, good Amy:) I am glad she gifted it to me too! That would be a good option on the bold line to have white paper....I will have to see if the website makes that clear. And yes...this and Monk Manual do have some things in common for sure;)

      @AmandasFavorites  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't use the full focus planner. I just reviewed it;) I do still homeschool but I only have one 14 yr old left at home. So my day probably looks very different from yours. I do always list my Top 3 for the day...and work off that. I always have a weekly list and or a monthly list I am working from too. I have a "Planning Updates" Playlist where I share my own personal planning and what I use there.

    It looks similar to the Monk manual, but I like that the daily pages on the Monk are separate from the weekly & don’t have the day of the week, so if you miss a day you don’t have to skip a page. That helps my planner last longer, often 3 1/2 to 4 months instead of three. But this planner does look really awesome for the business day. Thanks for the review

      There is a lot to it compared to other planners. I think you have to go in knowing that it might take you a month or two to find your groove and also don't feel like you have to fill everything out to begin. Just jump into the first week and start there;)

    Not sure if you’ll see this but do you recommend any of your videos on ‘Filofax’ style planners where you pick inserts so the design doesn’t feel as permanent? This planner seems great but I’m worried that I won’t utilise it well as I’m only just transforming my organisational approach to my life.

    How does this compare to Unbound? Which do you prefer? Advantages of each?

    • @AmandasFavorites
      @AmandasFavorites  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Honestly, they are very different. Unbound is a weekly planner that gives you the entire year in one book. Full Focus is a daily that is one book per quarter. I wouldn't say one is better than the other. They offer you different layouts and goal planning. Full Focus is more intense (IMO) for your goal planning and gives you so much more room with 2 pages per day. Hope that helps a little!

    I got this several years ago to theoretically help my husband and I get our [stuff] together.
    It was too structured for him and overwhelming (in terms of the amount of preparation required) for me.
    I will occasionally use it when I need a daily spread, but I do not think mine (bound) lays flat. I'm going to go home and see if I can break the spine a bit more, but I'm skeptical. I think they might have improved the ability to lay flat since I got the original planner 2 years ago.

    Have to say that the BLEED THROUGH is abysmal, especially on something like this that I have to WRITE IN every single date on both the calendars AND the days of the week. WHY WHY WHY do you start the monthly calendar with MONDAY?!?!?!? If you're not even going to write the dates in or label the month nor the year, then don't tell me which day of the week the calendar i'm LOCKED into and get consistently/completely confused with - No. thank. you.

      also, who only plans their schedule for 3 months at a time? If i'm going to spend this much money on a 'planner' (which i did) and it's going to be this detailed, which is fine, it's GOT to have more than 1/4 of a year. and i can't be carrying 2 or 3 of these around with me so i can make sure i have all the right things written down for more than the length of time it takes a red blood cell to turnover.
