But you need a good understanding of what's going on under the hood, something college will teach it, but you can learn it on your own. It's just easier to learn it at school. You'll hate it, but spending a lot of time with c++ helped me a fuck ton with understanding under the hood stuff, but it is also a very frustrating language.

I made this mistake before I found my first job ever in public accounting. I worked three months for free. By far, the most mistake I did in my entire career. No one is worth your time. No one should ever work for free. Don't beleive who ever tells you that you will work for experience. 100 percent a lie.
My internship also zero pay. I had to use my study loan to survive. I still remembered I only eat once in a day just to survive. Just to get the experience so that my resume going to be good. Btw mostly company in my country do not pay intern student. Nothing to be surprised
