Nice videos! It seems like we’re both drawn to the complexity of polyphony in eurorack. You should totally check out the Pianist module as a chord sequencer, I’ve made videos about it if you’re interested :)
The Pianist module (voiced chord sequencer) is controlling the chord via v/oct and is sending out the root. So the bass stays in tune with the chord by getting a duplicate of that signal (using a mult). Whenever the Pianist changes the chord's root the bass follows! The Comper takes care of the rhythm on top of it to complement that chord. Hope that helps!
@@NOH-modular Thanks for your reply. Meanwhile I’m thinking about duplicating the output of the Pianist an octave below the main chord into a vc sequential switch and clocking it with Comper. 🤔 Should give a "full experience" of walking bass in my expectations. Will check it out soon as I’ve orderedboth Comper & Pianist already👍
Looks great! Very well explained:)
I am definitely being recommended this because of my “Modular Chords” video 😅

@@NOH-modular I will! Looks awesome :D
Could you please explain how you do walking bass that's in tune with a chord?

I think I have to get one. Just because for experiential reasons 🙋🏻♂
👏👏👏
I wrote you asking you about if you offer diy kits of your modules or panel+pcb. Thanks
Hey!
I was planning on replying once they were available as it is in the works and some modules will be available very very very soon as DIY kits :)
