Are you by any chance planning to support WMD Arpitecht? It would be super useful given Arpitecht's somewhat messy flow for dialing in certain progressions
@@NOH-modular th-cam.com/video/b3l9fopZPXM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=zcQZcZ_dJJ2I95-J eg I like this video for a kind of "tasty guitar phrasing" kind of sound provided by arpitecht and your module would make it much easier to generate such improvisations for a defined chord progression. Is the bass v/oct coming from this module, IE 2 channels, or is it meant to handle one channel of chords? To create an AABA and something more complex, would it require 3 of the 32 steps or is there or could there be more options for handling this in a smart way? What if you wanted to go between A and B for a while and then go to a whole other section - would that be supported? Thanks
Hello! I’ll try to answer all of your questions, if you want in-depth information you can read the user manual available here- nohmodular.com/pianist.html Here are the answers - • The pianist sequences one chord at a time(one channel of chord), I got creative with the bass-line by taking the root output of the Pianist but summed it to an external sequence to get the line. • the “go to” and “then” navigation options is the way to tell the current chord where to go. You have examples on the user manual, but it should let you have an AABA section pretty easily by repeating the A with the “go to” and then going to the B section with the “then” option on the last chord of the A section. • The multi-function gate has a “page” function that jumps to the selected page (step 1, 9, 17, or 25) when it is triggered. This would let you repeat section A and B indefinitely until the gate is triggered after which the sequence jumps to the page where section C is. You can also simply use “go to” and “then” directly to repeat A and B a finite amount of time and then go to C. Hope this helps, again the user manual goes more in-depth and if you have more questions don’t hesitate to contact NOH through email :) Thanks!
~raising metaphorical boxing gloves~: Your punchy statement misses 2 details: 1. each chord voice has its own overtones, at least if you're not using sine waves as voices ~punches from below~ 2. overtones typically get quieter the higher they are. ~punches from the left~. If they're quantized or not depends on the tuning, e.g. a chord in just intonation has pure/unquantized overtones. ~punches while saying ACKSHUALLY very loud~ If you're playing the first say 6 partials of a pitch with a complex waveform, you'd still hear something that sounds more like a chord and less like a pitch. If you do the same with a sine wave, you hear a pitch. ~ding~ the round is over. kthxbye

This looks great, well done! Thanks to Izaak for sharing this in my Discord and bringing me here to check it out too.
Been looking for something like this cool module next on the shopping list
This is really very interesting, and that's one beautifully made video
Thanks!
Oh wow this looks fantastic and brings something new to the table. Looking forward to it!
This is fantastic, can't wait for it!
I NEED this! Very cool
This would definitely be a game changer.
Looks like an interesting module!
Excellent
This is very nice! There are some polyphonic modules with just odd chord choices when it comes to more complex harmony.
Seems really interesting!
amazing
Nice job! it looks cool and it seems really useful! let me know when it is available, the price, etc! ;)
Damn it! Just when I thought I was "done" buying new modules THIS comes out! 🤦♂😅

I wasn't aware of that module, but I'll definitely take a look into it!

Is it possible on future updates to add compatible mode for the Instruo Harmonaig?
