    Amazing video and I love the yarn. My sister was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and I want to make this for her as a lap blanket for her chemo treatments. Thank you so much for sharing this with us all.

    Thank you for this lovely tutorial! I'll be using this to make a baby blanket for a coworker using a light dove grey for the main part of the square and white in single crochet for the last round of the square, and then join the squares with white.

    @Blossom_Crochet, Thank you for the introduction to this lovely stitch. This is my first video of yours that I have watched but I am now subscribed and so will be working with you again, as it were.
    You asked us to tell you if we would like to see you "blocking" your squares and I for one would be very grateful if you could video that as I have never heard of it and it has made your larger, brighter coloured square look superb, so Yes Please to the Blocking video and thank you for taking the time to show us all these amazing crochet stitches and techniques.

    Thank you for sweet and simple square! Im enlarging it into a receiving blanket. Works up so quickly! The only modification I ve made was to ch 2 in the corners after the 3rd round, as the pretty pattern was established and I preferred the spaces a wee bit smaller. Your video was clear and enjoyable.

      That's wonderful, thank you for taking the time to leave a comment! I'll bet your blanket looks lovely. Rebekah

    • @vegangelist
      @vegangelist 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup. I did the same. Chain 2 in corners made it less ruffled.
      Also: instead of slip stitching into the starting chains/dc, I slip stitched directly into the chain space at the center of the V. That avoids that extra gap that is created by a slip stitch join.

    I think this is what I need to try. Nothing feels right with the particular yarn I'm using. It's a 4 weight yarn but feels heavy with any tight pattern so I think a more open airy pattern might do the trick. I will definately give this a try. Thank you
