- Storm chaser Brandon Sullivan was caught in massive hail while trying to get away from the severe thunderstorm near Denver City, TX. The hail smashed out his from windshield of his SUV.

I think windshields are designed for safety. Someone thrown against a shatter proof windshield would be hurt more I think. The old ones that broke into a lot of little pieces were really bad. I think you get hurt no matter what, but one is designed not to cut someone if they hit it and it breaks.

Evidently, someone needs to invent an unbreakable glass windshield, which I'm sure is already out there but you, know, can't let anyone have one cuz they need to make money on windshields! But, someone could make a gazillion $$! Sorry about the damage brother. In the olden days, we didn't even have THOSE shatter-proof kinds! They would just break into a million pieces.

There is, like 3-5 inches thick, very high dollar, make those evs you were tricked into buying even more costly.
There's Lexan but these guys don't have the money backing they'd need to get a whole windshield made of that.
