Once I knew you could keep romancing liara in me2 after the shadowbroker dlc I was glad that I didn't romance someone else. And boy I'm glad I didn't cus watching what happend to you... oh boy, I had the same reaction you had lol great playthrough bro!
@@Macintosh1001 Did you know: Mass Effect Developers cut jack’s same sex romances, According to one of the game's writers, the Mass Effect 2 character Jack was originally written as pansexual but backlash from Fox News caused them to draw back multiple gay romances so they scrapped all those animations and voicelines.
Really like your takes and how you deliver them. Especially all you said about Cerberus in regards to Jack situation in the previous episode. Keep up the good work, and may the algorithm favor you :)
So many people's first play through is a full Liara romance now that Lair of the Shadow Broker is always a part of the game. It feels so rough to break it off with her after all the emotions you go through in the mission. Props to you for doing something different; especially since Tali is best girl (Liara is second best).
Man, I love the attention to details. Subtle things like that make western RPG-s great. They really did their homework with the DLC-s. Shepard: "What about our relationship?" Liara: "What relationship? I know things."
I remember you said that you're not the one who is switching romances.😂 But if you're curious to know, Liara's romance ark is the most elaborate, fulfilling and rewarding even in ME2 if you would have continued with it. Bioware made the most effort for Liara's romance scenes and you will understand later on why the devs made so much more work for Liara, compared to the other romance options and not just because she gets a whole DLC. It's almost like they wanted the players to pick her as a romance.
To awnser your question, you can actually romance Jack. Also her romance is quite different compered to other companions since early one you can just have a one night stand with her. In my game I slept with jack, after that went to be with Miranda and after that returned to Liara in shadowbroker.
mann this DLC is so funny and great "its a taxi it has a fare meter" this is why i love the lair of the shadow broker, its kind of an ice breaker at all this seriousness "i meant where on the asari body," "so did i" it killed me the first time (anyways sadly i can only watch half of this )
1. If it's any consolation, that conversation with Liara immediately after the fight with Vasir, isn't much easier even if you haven't started romancing someone else. Liara maintains her distance right up until the end! 2. And yes, male Shepard can romance Jack. As you guessed, you can initiate a quick fling with her there and then, but she will be pretty hostile towards you afterwards. If you choose to romance her "properly" instead, it's a fairly long process, slowly breaking down her defences, but I'd definitely recommend you do it in another playthrough. Surprisingly sweet. 3. For the outstanding side missions, I'd recommend you do them either BEFORE getting the IFF, or AFTER you've finished the main story completely. (Don't want to say too much, but I wouldn't recommend doing them after the IFF and then continuing with the main story. Just a suggestion, though, obviously.)
23:28 The next Mass Effect will be both! It will serve as a continuation of both the original trilogy and Andromeda, making it essentially ME 5. The initial trailer plus the teasers given by Bioware on N7 day every year give us major hints for the next game. The major ones are the presence of alien races of both galaxies, anomalies across space most likely by dark energy and something from Andromeda that I won't spoil, a new Alliance controlled Mass Relay, a new N7 which we know nothing about, and Liara being a major player alongside both the Normandy and Andromeda squad and, likely, new characters. (Be warned, the next N7 day is tomorrow!) I recommend the coverage from both Paragon7 and Kale Elizabeth on the next game. They have different views and predictions but are super well informed and passionate about both ME and Dragon Age.
dont forget check all consoles in Shadow Booker base (one take you opportiunity to change powers your teammates ) ( all other do you something good so check all of them),last DLC (Arrival) you schould do after main missions (ME3 prelude )-all missions on consoles are done after next mission no in ME3 so go and check
she called you out, dawg! but honestly what did she expected, humans doesn't live for a millenium, Sheppard can't affort to wait a century until she sort out her priorities btw. if you liked the Mordin singing, there is a group of guys who actually made a whole song with orchestra 😀 th-cam.com/video/UxVekZRIWyg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=19YS8a70QWgM2wGY
There’s a fun fan theory about Mordin, some people believe he is speaking to you in you native language and not through a translator. It *might* explain his speech patterns, and the Gilbert and Sullivan song rhymed past the species barrier.
And for next main mission You schould take your beloved Tali -she really schould help you and Grunt too because you need strong team -and one more advice trust your instincts and be good boy ok?
I wish i coukd watch all these plays, but on vacation in PH, must attend to wifu first :o Will try to catch up when bqck home, enjoy this amazing game :D
Fun fact now that you've done Lair of the Shadow Broker. Since it was originally DLC, ME3 has a flag for if you completed it or not. If you don't she is still the Broker, but Shepherd doesn't know at first (and yes, she will know if you romanced someone else and call you on it).
Just a FYI, the scene with Mordin people wanted you to see (after locking in a romance), isnt the one you saw in this video (altho it is a very good one, love the singing!), so you should definitely talk to him again after doing a mission. Also, the Dossiers in the Shadow Brokers base have some very interesting info in it, so check those out as well if you are interested. I personally love Garrus' file
only comment on the Miranda/Jack interaction... Jack went into Miranda's office and threatened her. So, not suprising Miranda didn't react with sympathy. Miranda isn't a counselor.
Mass effect Andromeda is its own thing. the game will be self explanatory for the what and the why and who, when and where, but out of all the games, its gameplay is the most, "Open". a few mods here and there (the suggested QoL mods), and it should be enjoyable enough of an experience, the game ain't perfect but its still Good. But Mass effect 5, I hear may take place around the time that Mass effect Andromeda takes place but we will see.
warp ammo is weak if you compare it to incendary ammo (-incendary burn allways and everyone like you proved in next part fantastic use team incendary ammo force )And i repeat agan:incendary ammo force is INFINITE (and others ammo force too ) .Only is exeption if you change weapon you must load this force again but it is INFINITE so if you have zero ammo just pick up heat absorber and burn enemies all the time .If you use this ammo your gun for example Mattock have red icon (or white ,or blue or purple -it depends how ammo force you use) and teammates weapons have icons too-1.13 he noticed that alleluia
It's just a bad situation overall. Jack's traumatized by Cerberus, so she hates Miranda from the get-go, and lets her know it. Miranda is traumatized by her father, and exploited by her "savior". Their interactions were gonna be bad regardless, because people who suffer inflict suffering on others. And also the writers sometimes make these scenes needlessly black and white. That said, let's not forget, Jack kills for fun. She "vandalized" a moon. This altercation was also initiated by Jack. She went into Miranda's office looking for a fight. She's not a good person, and using trauma to excuse her bad behavior should also not be acceptable. Or if it could, then perhaps Miranda's should also? And I am not trying to sound callous. On the contrary, I think they both should be seen through an empathetic lens. I don't think Miranda is being an asshole. She's broken. And once again, sometimes those two can be virtually indistinguishable, but that's the case with Jack, too. And it gets even more muddied in a game that itself doesn't take killing seriously. I forget Samara's exact words, but she says something like "Would you want to know that that goon you just killed is also a dedicated father?" We're killing hundreds of people, and we have no idea what their lives are like, or how many orphans we're leaving behind. Even Paragon Shepard's body count rivals that of tyrants today. And they crack jokes while killing people. That's one of my gripes with trying to take the game's stories too seriously. It's a sci-fi adventure romp. It's an action movie. And as such, it's great. But the tone is all over the place, and so people have very inconsistent feelings about the stuff that's happening, because the intent is to have fun, and not engaging in the implications of what is happening. So while I think the game tackles topics that warrant very real conversations, I see very few attempts to engage in them seriously among the fans. Like take Garrus for example. He starts as a cop, who hates being bogged down by regulations. He hates that he can't bend the rules, or kill people he considers irredeemable. We unfortunately don't have to imagine what happens when cops start behaving that way. But most people are not willing to engage with the ethical issues, because they like Garrus. And that is fine, but not great for a coherent ethical argument. And just in case it's unclear, it's okay to enjoy Mass Effect. I do. But we must also understand that if we want to have serious conversations about Mass Effect, we can't examine single scenes or stories in a vacuum.
@@BrandonMcNeil2110 I always read it as "Clearly what was done to you was a mistake.". It feels out of place otherwise. But sometimes the writers make scenes extra inflammatory just to make otherwise unconscionable options seem more reasonable.
@@GuerillaBunny Nah, you can tell it was clearly directed at Jack. It's very apparent from her body language and tone, and the fact she doesn't clarify it as a misunderstanding.
