Best bait gummy’s is either squid head or half a pilchard (gut to head side). Tie that onto a double snell with two 3/0 hooks works every time. It would be cool of you did some beach fishing for gummy shark in a vid. Keep up the good work!
I don’t blame you for cutting the line with those stingrays that’s what I do. I use 7/0 circles all the time up here off the beach with live bait . With a 60lb fluorocarbon leader.😊🐠

Personally kayak2fish kayaks are a better option and cheaper than most hobies. I have a pedal king 12 and it's perfect and does everything you could want.
