  • The Browning Buck Mark is a semi-automatic pistol, made by the Browning Arms Company and chambered for the .22 Long Rifle cartridge. It has been produced since 1985. The Buck Mark replaced both the Challenger and International pistol models. The same action from the pistol is used in Buck Mark rifles.
    The Buck Mark pistol is designed with a straight blowback action, and is crafted using 7075 aluminium alloy. The gun uses .22 Long Rifle ammunition, with a magazine holding ten rounds. The gun comes equipped with a thumb safety as well as front and rear iron sights. Some also include a fiber-optic front sight for increased visibility. Features for some models include a bull barrel, full length scope rail, wooden comfort grips, and Pachmayr grips. It is typically issued with a ten-round magazine.

    Выражаю благодарность автору данных видеороликов. Ведь "Лучше один раз увидеть, чем сто раз услышать." А с такими ракурсами - это проще простого. Спасибо, товарищ. Спасибо

    This thing is an absolute nightmare to disassemble but I love it anyway.

      No kidding, the first couple times I tore into mine it took hours to reassemble, but after doing it a couple more times it gets a lot easier, which is usually the case for any gun. My SP-01 was a nightmare the first time, but now I can strip it down to each individual part and put it back together in about 10 minutes, just practice practice practice. And yeah, I adore this gun, it was my first handgun and I love it to this day, it's one of those guns that will be passed down through generations hopefully.

      And the grips hold all those tiny parts in place, it's a damned nightmare.

      @@TheExplosiveGuy Just got my first gun, a Browning Buck Mark Black Label Threaded, i'm glad that i manage to give it a quick clean up in about 10 minutes! I would love to see some footage or get live instructions. (So much better then this online footage, but for now it's the best to get.)

      @@patreve8195 I can run you through the process verbally if you'd like, a regular field strip is actually pretty easy. And unless you plan on swapping trigger components (if you aren't a gunsmith, don't lol, it's not easy getting in there) you shouldn't ever need to get into any internals.

    We also have one. Truly good pistol. However through the years its springs weared out. If just i could find some other brand new springs for it here in south africa.

    Why do empty shells fly out of the pistol instead of remaining stationary or you have to knock them out?

    • @1vw4me
      @1vw4me 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Because it's a semi-automatic pistol. The slide being forced back causes the extractor to grab the rim of the cartridge and eject it.

      Wrong. Pressure extract shell from chamber. Extractor just grab shell and move backwards

    how do you drop the hammer without dry firing to put the gun in storage?

      do you pull out the magazine?

    • @TheExplosiveGuy
      @TheExplosiveGuy ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You don't. There's no decocker, if you want to uncock it for storage you'll have to pull the trigger. Since it's a rimfire you dont want to dryfire it, put a fired empty case in the chamber and then pull the trigger, leaving the case in the gun until you pull it out next. But to be entirely honest you don't need to do that, springs don't wear out under static loads so you can keep it cocked in storage.
