omg her acting here is so funny, reminds me of the kids in Bedknobs and Broomsticks - like the exaggerated cockney accent and expressions and over pronunciation haha. Absolutely love her though - can't believe she was only 16 here!

Her first episode watching this now knowing what a character she has become is fantastic.
I can see what everyone is saying but I think her acting is fine, in this scene the character is meant to be putting on an act for Charlie and family so they’ll take her in.

Stacey's interesting, like pat she was 3 different types of EE female characters, first she was just juvenile delinquent then a tart with a heart, and now one of the few mature women who've survived a lot of tragedies and misfortunes.

Crev Rath I got to like her more when I realised her behaviour at times was due to Jean (and Stacey herself) having bipolar. Although, tbh, she is more likeable now!
@@alexjones1985 she didn’t have bipolar disorder back in 2004 (Stacey) or at any point prior to 2009. The way she was before that point was just the way she was.

She was a great addition at that time. The scenes with Charlie when they went to visit her mum, who wanted nothing to do with her, we’re absolutely heartbreaking. And she was constantly insulting boring, thick Zoe and snuck into Dennis’ flat to try and seduce him 😂😂
