Brock Purdy not being a deep ball thrower is such an easy narrative to prove wrong. He was number 1 in air yards per attempt last year
& number 1 in yard per completion with over 9 yards an attempt so it wasn’t just swing passes and slants, the ball was traveling further than any other qb.
sooooo tired of that narrative too. not only does 13 throw deep-but he does so accurately.

@@anonimust8 ah yes Belichick, who both of them like…there’s value to keeping dogshit coordinators around like Matt Patricia and Joe Judge (as OCs no less!) because they understand Bill’s language. But that doesn’t apply to a QB going to a brand new franchise and wanting players and a coordinator that can understand his offense and language…no, he just wants his buddies around.

just remember how visibly angry diana and reporters like her were when it came out Salah was not going to be fired. They really blamed his for losses as the paper-thin oline was ripped apart and meat grinded zach wilson. Salah was a defensive coach and all season the defense was mean and nasty. Yet somehow it's his fault the players were terrible and zach wasn't able to navigate the offense.
It would take more than that to humble a coach and team that won back to back Super Bowls. You can’t compare them to a beta team that haven’t done anything relevant in generations
