शिवलिंग में जो उभरा हुआ भाग है वो पुरुष है (अर्थात् आत्मा/चेतना है) और उसके चारों ओर जो आकृति है वह प्रकृति है (अर्थात् संसार/माया/ मन है)
इसको सम्मिलित करके देखें तो ये अर्थ निकलता है कि हमें इस संसार में ही रहकर अपनी चेतना को ऊंचाई देनी होगी। मोक्ष का रास्ता प्रकृति से ही होकर जाता है। इसलिए सनातन धर्म में प्रकृति की पूजा की जाती है उसका पवित्र स्थान है। यह हमारे हाथ में है प्रकृति के आशीर्वाद से हमे ज्ञानी बनना है या अज्ञानी, माया से सीखना है या माया में लिप्त रहना है। और यह शिव जी का प्रतीक इसलिए है क्योंकि वह योगी हैं। उनके पास मनुष्य की भांति सभी भाव हैं सुख, दुख, क्रोध आदि; ऐसा ग्रंथो में दर्शाया जाता है परंतु हमेशा उनको हम ध्यान में ही पाते हैं । हमें उनकी ही तरह प्रकृति अर्थात् अपनी इंद्रियों पर नियंत्रण करना चाहिए और शून्यता के निकट आना चाहिए।

Very beautifully he explained that kaaran is lingi and karya is linga, through out the video I can relate the meaning of linga, at the last part where he told that the avtaar of lord shiva in his digambar form was carrying tejomaya linga ( that means bright burning torch or mashaal in his hand) and the yoni represents the panchtatva nature ( they are आकाश (Space) , वायु (Quark), अग्नि (Energy), जल (Force) तथा पृथ्वी (Matter)) and and due to the curse of those sages everything that exists is burning due to the fire of that mashaal ( we already know that the curse of the divine soul has power) . So this is the unstability that is caused due to curse of sages so goddess parvati took yoni avtaar( ie panchtatvaatmika prakrati avtaar) to stabilise the energy of that blaze of fire that is causing devastation and we already know that nature(prakrati) can stabilize that blaze of fire and save everyone and only nature was having that capability to save everyone from a blaze of this much intensity. It is very clear that there is no involvement of male and female genital organs here. The word sarvadaahak is said to that linga means the energy of that blaze of fire was expanding uncontrollably, how can a normal male genital be sarvadaahak and how can that blaze or fire be stabilized by holding that source of that blaze( ie the burning torch), this itself seems quite illogical if we compare with genitals of human beings..
If you are a science student then you will understand better what I am explaining - you must have studied the concept of divergence which tells that every energy in this world that has source will definately have sink to preserve the law of conservation of energy.
So Ling means symbol or representation and shivalinga is representation of lord shiva. Lord shiva is purush( cosmic entity) and the purush is the source of energy and maa parvati is prakrati(nature)
So, shivling is representation (ling) of stabilized form of cosmic entity (purush),that gets stabilized with the help of nature(prakrit) accepting it's energy.
So it is all about purush and prakrati, where purush is the source of energy and prakrati is the sink of energy at cosmic level..

Asal me yoni word ka sense kisi bhi aise sthan se liya ja sakta hai jiske andar se koi anya vastu originate hoti hai. Shivlinga ke 3 parts hote hain - sabse neeche "peetham", which means seat or pedestal, uske upar "yoni", jiske andar lingam fit rehta hai and ek tarah se uske andar se originate hota hai, aur finally, lingam swayam, jo ki shiv ji ke saral swabhaav ko darshata hai, jinko anya devtaon ki tarah vigrah banakar kathin shram se ki gayi upasna ki aavashyakta nahi hai.
Agar yoni devi shakti ka symbol hota to shivalayon me devi ki bhi shiv ji ke saath hi pooja hoti aur shivlinga ki poojan se devi ki bhi pooja maani jati, lekin aisa kahin bhi nahi hota hai. Isiliye yoni ka arth devi ke symbol se nahi hai. Shivlinga ka matlab keval shiv ka symbol hai. Neeche ke yoni aur peetham keval un structures ke sanskrit naam hain. Baaki sab western scholars aur unke Indian stooges ka propaganda hai.

लेकिन आज से पहले वायरल वीडियो जैसी सुविधा नहीं थी इसलिए वो कचरा दर्ज हो गया शास्त्रों में।
ऊपर से भारत में christain (britishers) , इस्लामिक आक्रमण में भी इन गिरोह के मानने वालो ने भी हिंदू सनातन संस्कृति में खूब झूठ mix करवा दिए ताकि हिंदू को उसकी ही किताबे दिखा के शर्मिंदा केरो और धर्म परिवर्तन करवाओ।

Very beautifully he explained that kaaran is lingi and karya is linga, through out the video I can relate the meaning of linga, at the last part where he told that the avtaar of lord shiva in his digambar form was carrying tejomaya linga ( that means bright burning torch or mashaal in his hand) and the yoni represents the panchtatva nature ( they are आकाश (Space) , वायु (Quark), अग्नि (Energy), जल (Force) तथा पृथ्वी (Matter)) and and due to the curse of those sages everything that exists is burning due to the fire of that mashaal ( we already know that the curse of the divine soul has power) . So this is the unstability that is caused due to curse of sages so goddess parvati took yoni avtaar( ie panchtatvaatmika prakrati avtaar) to stabilise the energy of that blaze of fire that is causing devastation and we already know that nature(prakrati) can stabilize that blaze of fire and save everyone and only nature was having that capability to save everyone from a blaze of this much intensity. It is very clear that there is no involvement of male and female genital organs here. The word sarvadaahak is said to that linga means the energy of that blaze of fire was expanding uncontrollably, how can a normal male genital be sarvadaahak and how can that blaze or fire be stabilized by holding that source of that blaze( ie the burning torch), this itself seems quite illogical if we compare with genitals of human beings..

The whole form of shiv linga is symbolic, the oval nature of the linga symbolizes the cornerless infinity consciousness or your being, and it shows many things to the sadhak who is doing his shivattwa. The argha has 3 ridges on it, and these 3 ridgez also has 3 colors in reality, which also symbolizes certain thing. So, every bit of it is of spiritual importance, that too, much after brahmagyan and brahmanishtha.

Shivalinga also symbolises the simplicity of lord Shiva. Other deities have elaborate beautiful vigrahas, while shiv ji is pleased by just worshipping a simple uncarved stone lingam. Other deities are worshipped with flowers and sweets, while shiv ji is pleased with just bel leaves and raw milk. Whatever is generally considered as unacceptable as an offering to all other deities is acceptable to Shiv ji. That's why Shiv ji is known as Bholenath.

इतना उल्लू बना रहे हो देवी भागवत महापुराण में भी आया है कि भी भृगु मुनि के कान में गया शिवजी का लिंग मुनि के शॉप से कटकर के नीचे गिर गया, और यह बात देवी भागवत में तीन जगह लिखी हुई है, और इसी देवी भागवत में शिव जी को निर्लज्ज बोला गया,
दूसरा महाभारत में भी माता के भग और शिवलिंग के बारे में वर्णन किया गया है और वहां पर भी शिवलिंग को पुरुषों का चिन्ह ने बताया गया है और भग को स्त्रियों का चिन्ह बताया गया है
कूर्म पुराण में भी आता है कि शिव जी दिगंबर हो करके घूम रहे थे , और इसी पत्नियां दिगंबर शिव को देखकर आकर्षित हो गई और उनसे चिपक गई, इससे नाराज होकर के ऋषि यों ने शिवजी को लात और डंडों से पीटा जिससे उनका लिंग कट के धरती में गिर गया
भविष्य पुराण में भी आता है कि ब्रह्मा विष्णु महेश ऋषि पत्नी के पास जाते हैं, उस समय शिवजी अपने लिंग को पकड़े हुए थे अपने हाथ में, उस लिंग में ब्रह्मा जी रात भर रहे थे मतलब की फेट रहे थे, और गंदे गंदे अपशब्द कह रहे थे ऋषि पत्नि के साथ वहां पर लिंग का मतलब जननांग ही है
गरुड़ पुराण में भी आता है कि किसी का लिंग अगर दाएं और झुका हो तो उसे पुत्र प्राप्ति होती है और बाएं और झुका हो तो उसे कुछ और प्राप्त होता है,
